Forgotten Scouse House

BCD Records! BUTLER - CALVERT - DI SCALA 25 year celebration release! Coming soon ❤ Nearly 25 years since we first released a track on the BCD label and as you can see from this pic - Thankfully a lot has changed!! So many people always talk with such fondness about BCD and the releases that we had and it certainly was a magical time for the whole scouse house sound. We originally started in @MIKEDISCALA bedroom in his mums house all them years ago. I knew then what an incredible talent Mike was , just an absolute natural. He could play/ sing and produce .. A star and a real gent too @lescalvert and i were a little off the rails, we liked to party back then ( to put it mildly) but we had so many ideas , lots of them pretty outside the box but the amazing thing was that Mike could bring them to life .. Lots of our inspiration came from our early raving nights , way before BCD started , Les and i would end up back in his , a tad worse for ware just going through Les's amazing vinyl collection and jumping on the decks and going in the mix till all hours and sometimes for days!!!! Les's musical knowledge is second to non so the 3 of us made a good team with BCD We then went on to get our own studio above 3 Beat records on Slater Street and we had some good success with many releases getting signed to AATW and featuring on many Clubland albums We would travel every other week to the AATW offices in Blackburn to chat about ideas and future releases! We still have a great relationship with Matt & Chris ❤ Of course Mike had the huge hits with Ultra Beat too and of course now is one half of @CamelPhat - No one deserves it more! So theres a little history! To celebrate 25 years we are releasing a USB with all the BCD anthems digitally remastered PLUS we are currently getting some brand new 2025 remixes on some of the BCD gems that will also be exclusive to the USB We may also re release some on limited vinyl We are also putting together a HUGE BCD event at a very special nightclub for a one off BCD special celebration - Info on this coming soon SO -- The label had so many releases -- Which one was your fav? Stay tuned for more updates BCD team x
