I’ve discovered a potential fix for this today. Please read my post on this Reddit thread and try it out. Can’t post it on here as not enough characters.

And I have tried everything too - graphics, NVIdia, searched every Reddit post. The only two things I have done recently were make sure I put it on the HDD - but I still had crashes - and make sure the controller was flashing on before loading up.
And I’ve had no crashes in two days. DirectX is linked to all peripherals like controllers as well as graphics. I don’t think the game likes it when you turn the controller on whilst it’s on. Make sure your Xbox controller icon is flashing white before you start up. Lemmeknow!
May have a fix for you. Do you leave your controller plugged in and get a prompt to switch to keyboard as you load up? I did and it continually crashed for 5 months… game ship.exe. I made sure my controller was switched on and plugged before loading up the game.
Can you sort out the game ship.exe crash please? It’s plaguing a lot of PC users since the integration. No one seems to have a fix.
I don’t know if this will help you but I’d been searching for the fix to this since the integration. I checked my BIOS and had my XMP profile disabled - turning it on has eliminated the bug so far and it’s been 2 days…

Hi. I’m a long time Warzone player and I keep getting kicked from games and taken back to the ‘Checking for updates’ screen - it is completely crashed at this point and I have to open task manager to reset (on PC). Do you have any advice to solve this issue?
It says no issues. I’ve not touched the Hub or my Router either. I have reset them both now though. It was working fine yesterday and I’ve come home now… and it’s not. Any advice ?
@virginmedia Hi. I’ve come home to find my broadband isn’t working and I’ve done nothing to it. Is there a general problem with it in Wigan? I rang the customer service number but it wasn’t exactly helpful…
