Great food brings people together. Kindness makes the moment even more meaningful. 👨🏽🍳
This International Chefs Day, our PHK chefs took their passion beyond the kitchen, spending time with the children at Dorna Center Home for Autism in Ntinda. The smiles said so much.
Celebrating the hands that cook and the hearts behind them.

Men and boys are key in understanding menstrual hygiene. They play a fundamental role in understanding the hustles girls go through during the week or periods and help to address the challenges and stigma around it. We can't end period poverty without men and boys in involvement

It was all fun as the Pad a Girl Campaign message was extended to the learners of Mende Kalema Memorial Secondary school in Mende Wakiso. The Wakiso trail continues to Kasengejje PS on 16th. The message has never been different.

Congratulations to @IriseEastAfrica @LillianBagala and the MPs on the launch of the #MHHParliamentaryForumUganda.
This is a significant step for Uganda. Parliament’s commitment matters most when it translates into policy, financing and accountability.
Menstrual justice requires collective action across communities, civil society and Parliament, with menstrual health recognised as part of the wider policy and development agenda.
#MenstrualJusticeForAll
The launch of the #MHHParliamentaryForumUganda concluded with Members of Parliament committing to champion menstrual health and hygiene through legislation, policy advocacy, resource allocation and parliamentary oversight.
The Forum also established its new Executive Committee to provide leadership and coordinate its work, alongside Regional Champions to strengthen engagement across Uganda. This marks an important step towards sustained parliamentary action on menstrual health, WASH, dignity and equity.

Building local capacity to end period poverty 🧵
As part of the #KickOutPeriodPoverty campaign in Buwagi, Jinja, 2 sewing machines, 1 overlock machine and 1 pressing machine were donated to support local reusable pad production.
The equipment will strengthen women’s economic empowerment while supporting the local production of affordable, sustainable menstrual products for the communities.
Economic empowerment and menstrual access can go hand in hand.
