Been draggin' round this number for a while now... Every once & a while it feels more precise than it did the day before...Hope it might bring someone, somewhere, some joy. Organ/guitar solos always fill my heart up🖤 youtu.be/wBhI8nCthXc?si=yxTK… #Resistance

The "double-time" holy grail!...Achieved it on tape once on this one and yeah, definitely would agree with the gospel lift without doubt. youtube.com/watch?v=k_MsSd_h…

Always been fascinated by the WoS. In truth, I've never heard any live sound anything like the Dead. It was in the late 80's but still...
“The Wall of Sound was a turning point in the entire world of sound reinforcement. By the end of the ’60s, myself and others like me had hot-rodded it and milked every nuance out of [existing P.A. systems] … We had to move to a whole new concept, scrap everything and start over. That was the purpose of the Wall of Sound. And while it in itself wasn’t that successful, the endeavor, the goal of it was completely successful: completely rethinking and revamping the entire approach to sound reinforcement.” - Dan Healy 50 years ago today, the Wall of Sound debuted at Cow Palace in Daly City, CA. Labeled as “The Sound Check,” the show would last four hours and would witness the first live performances of “Scarlet Begonias” and “Cassidy.” Photos by Ralph Boethling, Steve Schneider, Ben Haller, and Ron Rakow

One of the first professional gigs I had was opening up for Chris in 1992 at the Tinker Street Cafe in Woodstock NY. He gave me the Another Way to Find You album. Listened to that record for days after... Easily one of the best performers/guitar players I've ever seen.

All this "small town" talk reminded me of this track I demoed in New York City sometime in 1996 or 7 with the late, great Steve Burgh on electric guitars. Almost landed me a deal with Electra Records but alas... That Aldean guy sounds like a total prick. youtu.be/k1dgkwqROIs

In case anybody was wondering what I do to make ends meet it's working on stuff like this. Ironically, as utterly unknown as I am musically I've probably had my carpentry in front of as many people as anyone.

Words can't really describe what @bobdylan means to me in any precise, understandable earthly way. A pole star, an anchor, a guide, a road upon which to travel and an inspiration above all others. All of these things and more...happy birthday Bob. #Dylan

Just got a nice compliment from an American piano player I know from North Carolina... "I don't know what you guys did on that record but it sounds like the 60's" Personally, I was shooting for the 70's but whatever... claytondenwood.bandcamp.com/…
