If you add in £130m losses on “Reform TV” (aka GB News) the effective subsidy of Farage’s party from just four men tops £200m. You just have to join the dots independent.co.uk/voices/nig…

POWERFUL STUFF: SUBSTATION (1988): Afternoon PIFs intended for children's television were a curious thing. There you are, watching The Real Ghostbusters or Knightmare, when the ad break hits and you're confronted with a double electrocution.

So.... £2,485 on glasses for a PM was "sleaze rotting our politics to the core" but £72,000,000 in a single day for Nigel Farage is celebrated as hitting "the jackpot" and a "war chest..."
Whatever is happening here is happening in plain sight. You decide!

Observe how Nigel Farage's Praetorian Guard in the media - who vilified Keir Starmer over the gift of a tie and glasses - seek to normalise £72m of crypto in a day. Suspect British journalists will, on the whole, do the opposite.
An astonishing £72 million pours into @reformparty_uk funds in 24 hours. The money could be a game changer. Write off @Nigel_Farage at your peril
I mean c’mon @marksandspencer I don’t know if I’m coming or going.
I worked at Channel 4 for a very short time (my dept got outsourced 🙄) - but I’ve never been prouder to work somewhere. Making trouble was always in its DNA.

Brilliant stunt by @BylineTimes #Reform
Our undercover reporter, Chris Atkins, posed as a far-right journalist at the Reform Conference and got thrown out for asking difficult questions about Farage's corruption scandal @scatatkins

The term “witch hunt” is overused in politics. Perhaps not this time. Quite a bit of the British media should ask themselves some serious questions as to whether the tenor and volume of the coverage they gave to this man was remotely proportionate. Likewise there are questions for Cambridge- and whether they discharged their duty of care.
JASON ARDAY has been found dead.
Arday was found “unresponsive” at an address in Battersea on Friday afternoon. He was later pronounced dead.
A spokesman for the Met said officers were called by the London Ambulance Service at 3.12 p.m.
“Sadly, a 41-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His next-of-kin have been informed and are being supported by officers.
At this time his death is being treated as unexpected, but is not believed to be suspicious. The case is being investigated by officers from the Met’s Central South Command Unit. A file will be prepared for the coroner.”

Fascinating line here from @patrickmaguire column today, not least because of what it says about both prime ministers.
