I think @ProfOsinbajo and @MBuhari and Yahaya bello have demystified 3 great myths in the mind of the average Nigerian. You don't need a Pastor, you don't need a StrongMan, you don't need a Young person for Nigeria to get better. Reality check.

It's Not Compulsory for Tinubu to Campaign Across Nigeria; Political Rally Is Not a Means of Communicating With the Public — Otubanjo It is not compulsory for President Tinubu to campaign in all 36 states and the FCT. When the President goes out to campaign, he does so as the candidate of the APC, not as the President of Nigeria, so he has no obligation to address everyone. Even if President Tinubu decides to campaign in all 36 states and the FCT, the total estimated number of Nigerians living in all the state capitals combined is 59.6 million — about 25% of the population. The idea that the President will use rallies to communicate with Nigerians is therefore misleading. Prof. Femi Otubanjo Research Professor, Nigerian Institute of International Affairs

A Leader of Conviction, a Builder of People, and a Symbol of Political Resilience, I join millions of Nigerians in celebrating a distinguished statesman, a political institution, and a leader whose influence transcends party lines and whose legacy is deeply woven into the aspirations of the Nigerian people: His Excellency, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso. Your Excellency, your political journey has demonstrated that leadership is not merely about occupying positions of authority, but about building a movement, nurturing loyal followers, inspiring collective purpose, and sustaining a vision that outlives the individual. Through the Kwankwasiyya Movement, you have demonstrated the power of organisation, political identity, grassroots mobilisation, and the deliberate investment in human capacity. We recognise that Nigeria's journey toward a new political order requires more than shared ambitions. It demands mutual respect, strategic understanding, genuine collaboration, and the wisdom to recognise that our nation's future is greater than any individual, movement, or political platform. Your Excellency, the true measure of leadership is not only in the followers gathered around a leader today, but in the institutions built, the lives transformed, the values sustained, and the hope inspired in generations yet unborn. Nigeria needs leaders who understand that the ultimate purpose of political power is service, that unity is stronger than division, and that the future must be built through cooperation rather than competition for its own sake. On behalf of the Obidient Movement, I extend my warmest birthday wishes to you, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso. May your years ahead be marked by enduring impact, greater understanding, and a legacy that continues to inspire purposeful leadership and national progress. Happy Birthday, Your Excellency! Dr. Moses Paul (Dr. Mo) National Coordinator, Obidient Movement.

Self-deceit is so funny cos there's no actual Obidient from 2022/23 who stopped being Obidient. Akin was never Obidient. Umar was never Obidient cos there were literal meetings where they made financial demands for their support and became lukewarm immediately those demands were not met. Jamilu was never Obidient either because he was in it strictly for financial gain and to build a platform as a bargaining chip for the future. We know who the real Obidients were and they're all still here, not one soul lost. If anything, the movement has swollen in number Iver the last 3 years
Lol. So much changed between 2023 and today. Number of ex-obidients is something else

Leave the fools. Not one of them was ever Obidient, they were just opportunists. Not Val, Not Nana, Not Jack, Not Chigozie, Not Kenneth. Not Wadata Queen. All these people were questionable characters in the Movement More younger people have come in to make a real difference

The media gang up was too much. An "utter failure" Right now the editors won't even accept such a headline. We are our own media
Nigerians must pick between Goodluck Jonathan, an utter failure, and Buhari, a former dictator econ.st/1LTIaGY
