Learnsets are somewhat valid but I’m a full-on physical/special split hater these days. The idea that Pokemon can only be well designed if they’re firing STAB attacks off of their biggest attacking stat is stupid

Man, why is Ikaruga THE shmup that the media knows about? Not a slight on Ikaruga, just, why it in particular? Game journalists have been sucking off that game for 20+ years. It's so ubiquitous that, when people find out I'm into shmups, it's the first game they ask me about.
