In 1982, Billy Graham preached from Martin Luther’s pulpit in Wittenberg, Germany—the birthplace of the Protestant Reformation. More than 500 years after Martin Luther nailed his Ninety-Five Theses to the door of Wittenberg’s Castle Church, Graham stood in the same city proclaiming that God’s Word remains our ultimate authority.
Like Luther before him, Billy Graham urged believers to return to Scripture and let the Bible speak directly to their hearts. His message is a reminder that God’s Word is still living and active today, calling us to read it, trust it and build our lives upon it.
