"Delighted that the Government will find a new (or return to an old) method of holocausting sentient beings that will soothe the conscience of the bacon-loving public enough to keep paying for it". There can be no 'compassion' in farming our fellow animals.
I have spoken out for years about the inhumane slaughter of pigs! As intelligent as our domestic dogs Now I am delighted to say that the UK Government has launched a consultation on ending CO₂ slaughter for pigs It’s about time and let us hope that this could truly bring about significant change 📖 Read more: bit.ly/4yCynQR

Just like CO2 was touted as a way of "reducing suffering". Welfarism is a joke. Stop eating animals.
The @DefraGovUK Minister @StephenMorganMP has announced new plans to end carbon dioxide stunning of pigs to prevent suffering. ‘High concentration carbon dioxide is widely used to stun pigs in British slaughterhouses, but independent evidence has highlighted serious concerns about the suffering it causes animals.  The government has now put forward proposals to replace the practice with more humane alternatives, such as argon gas and automated electrical stunning. Both methods are proven to substantially reduce animal suffering’ gov.uk/government/news/new-p…

CaMBRidgeshire Police are having to face awkward questions about the ever rising amount of resources they dedicate to protecting MBR. We believe the policing bill now amounts to millions of pounds... way above the 800k quoted here.

Better check what this guy looks at on Telegram.
Foie Gras is delicious. And some people enjoy it. That's all the cost-benefit analysis you need. It is ridiculous (and a moral error) to prioritise the welfare of any number of ducks or geese over the humans who wish to eat their fattened liver. There are very specific contexts where utilitarianism may make sense. But extending it everywhere, while putting a non-zero weight on the welfare of each animal, is the equivalent of trying to understand the behaviour of electrons using general relativity alone.

This is beyond fucked up. Leave dogs out of your experimenting bullshit. @PalmerLuckey @BenLamm
Palmer Luckey unveils “Warhound,” a $200 million startup developing genetically enhanced dogs for the US military in partnership with Colossal Biosciences and Anduril Industries. Colossal will provide genetic engineering and cloning expertise, while Anduril will equip the dogs with advanced cybernetic technology and battlefield awareness systems. Follow: @AFpost

Today is the day New York City Council will vote on whether to ban horse-drawn carriages from the city (to be phased out by 2028). We call on NYC to do the right thing and end this cruel enslavement of animals. Animals who should never have been forced to pull people around all day. (All photos taken of collapsed horses in NYC.) 🐴🗽

Non-vegan bullet bite: humans with the apparent cognitive capacity of a pig (3-4 year old child) are not human, but are human looking "animals" and are "fully farmable"🤣.
Replying to @CarnismDebunked
Sure, thank you, I appreciate you responding. My trait is sapience. Not wisdom as per the dictionary but the ability to think in concepts and to participate in the moral universe. Why? Because you have no moral universe without this trait and this trait operates the moral dimension of life. This is about having this ability structurally. As a sleeping pig is still sentient (since your trait is presumably sentience), so is a sleeping human sapient. So is a baby sapient. So is a comatose person sapient. As to extremely mentally disabled people, we need to use precaution. But suppose we would have a group of such people who would - be exactly pig consciousnesses - would breed true - would be healthy to eat - would be economical to maintain - we could somehow automate the farming (i can explain why this, i know it is not obvious) = then those “people” (human looking animals) are fully farmable. So are dogs, cats - but not your dog. Why? Because of your sapience. Because you care. So - sapients have FUNDAMENTAL moral value Sentiens have DERIVED and CONDITIONAL moral value Why? Because they can’t live in the moral universe without sapient action. Thank you for reading. All clear?

Why is a human 'better' than a non-human? How many non-humans have already suffered and died horrific deaths because of that one human?
This is how you know the world has lost its soul … cos why wasn’t that cat shot to save that man’s life ? …. An animal is better than a human in 2026 ? God rest his soul and console his home

Lots of people making the bare assertion that any human life is more valuable than any non-human life. This conclusion is not reached through any reason or logic; it's merely parroting the unchallenged cultural speciesist ideology we were all indoctrinated into.

Humans create the utterly predictable situation and then bigoted, speciesist, moral imbeciles yell for the innocent tiger to be shot. 🤦🏼‍♂️🙄 Abolish zoos and replace them with sanctuaries without breeding them. Reject cultural speciesist psychopathy. Be vegan.

Zoos are prisons for innocents that should be replaced with large sanctuaries that don’t breed the residents. Altai, the tiger who recently attacked the man who entered his enclosure, did nothing wrong and should live out his life in peace. The man experienced the predictable result of his behavior. Our fellow animals are moral patients who deserve full moral consideration of their interests, but do not owe moral consideration to others due to their inability to morally deliberate at the level of a normal adult human. For nonvegans defending Altai, you’re right, but you, and all nonvegans in the developed world in 2026, should extend your sense of justice to all sentient beings and leave them alone as far as is reasonably possible, which means becoming vegan.

TigerGate™ has made it very apparent how little thought actually goes into some people's opinions.
I will always in every situation pick a human life over an animal. If you think otherwise you are mentally ill.

Why is it "obviously the right thing to do"?
I feel like I'm losing my mind re: the disabled man who jumped into the tiger enclosure in the UK recently Yes, you shoot the tiger. If you have any plausible opportunity to save the person by shooting the tiger, you shoot the tiger. That's obviously the right thing to do
