To my fellow Reform UK members and supporters. The pressure is real. Every other political party and much of the establishment media are throwing everything they have at us. Our outer armour is taking a battering โ€” and thatโ€™s exactly what happens when youโ€™re the real threat. But underneath that armour, something far stronger is being built. Dedicated people across the country are working tirelessly, quietly, and with total focus, preparing Reform to govern. The policies, the people, the organisation โ€” itโ€™s all taking shape. When the moment comes, we wonโ€™t just be ready. Weโ€™ll be stronger for everything weโ€™ve faced. We will win.

"Reform's alternative budget released today includes many proposals that will finally get Britain's economy growing again. Abolishing the Energy Profits Levy will play a crucial role in ensuring the country's energy security, which a recent ASI index ranked below Romania and Ukraine. Windfall taxes undermine the incentive on firms to be ready to drill when prices are high: without them, the UK's domestic energy supply will be far more secure, and the country will be less vulnerable to price hikes and energy crises. It will also lower electricity costs at a time of eye-wateringly high energy prices, which will cost the average family an extra ยฃ206 in the coming year. The alternative budget's proposals will also give a desperately needed boost to housebuilding. Leaving the Aarhus convention, which paralyses planning reviews and raises costs for developers, will make it easier and faster to build new homes. Repealing Biodiversity Net Gain rules will also reduce costs and delays for housebuilders, 94% of which have been hit by delays due to the rule. Taken together, these changes will mean more houses are built faster and for a lower cost - which will go a long way to solving Britain's housing crisis. If done right, planning deregulation like those proposed by this alternative budget could single-handedly raise long-run GDP by 7.05% - a rise of almost ยฃ3,000 per person." - Silvia Andreoletti, Head of Communications

The great thing about Reformโ€™s announced economic platform is that itโ€™s a combination of policies that each make a small bit of difference, and combined will massively improve our economy. Reform recognises the levers that need to be pulled to fix this country!

Tory shadow cabinet members who were MPs in 2016 and supported Remain include Tom Tugendhat (Shadow Foreign Secretary), Chris Philp (Shadow Home Secretary), James Cartlidge (Shadow Defence Secretary), Damian Hinds (Shadow Health Secretary), Helen Whately, and Victoria Atkins. Donโ€™t believe the con artist @KemiBadenoch nothing has changed. Around 50 current Tory MPs are EU supporters

Still makes me laugh. Conservative commentators, when Reform lead in over 200 polls: We are so back. This is proof we're the party of the right. Conservative commentators, when they lead in one poll: It's obvious we're the party to back. They genuinely believe they're entitled to rule, despite all their betrayals... they think 7mn voters are going to go flocking back after everything that happened. If Reform disappeared tomorrow, they'd still be lucky to get anywhere near power.

The stark divisions within the Conservatives are already re-emerging. Copying Reformโ€™s policies is one thing; getting all your MPs behind them is quite another. Not a chance while the Gauke-ward squad claims to have the support of a third of Conservative MPs. Splits showing..

I think with a forthcoming media and marketing campaign Reform U.K. will pull back. The right is cutting its nose off to spite its face. The policies are more or less identical.

They will never change. I will never vote Conservative ever again. Never dreamed it would come to this, but they r 100% responsible for the mess we're in. My heart breaks lookin at what they've allowed London to become. They could hve turned things around. THEY CHOSE NOT TO!
Even if the Reform vote utterly collapsed and the party fell apart, I know I would not be alone in saying I would still not vote for the Conservative Party again. The so called "Kemistry" is inauthentic. She has Matt Hancock's Witch Finder General coordinating policy and writing the manifesto and Henry Newman who pushed Net Zero and statutory gender self recognition as her Chief of Staff. They have not changed.

Pretty sure that @RichardGCorbett knows that he is lying here. We went through this in 2017 - we tried to deport homeless EU citizens, and we're told it was contrary to EU law to do so, as they "have a right to live in another country irrespective of whether they are homeless".
EU Freedom of Movement is NOT an unconditional right under EU law: it is conditional on finding a job or being self-sufficient i.e. not being a burden on taxpayers. Otherwise they have no right to stay. #BBCLauraK

the EU is facing significant financial and economic challenges, with several analysts warning of a potential sovereign debt crisis or structural decline. Germanyโ€™s likely next chancellor, Friedrich Merz, has explicitly stated that a new financial crisis is "definitely coming" due to excessive public debt, while experts warn that France could require a massive bailout, potentially adding โ‚ฌ2 trillion to the blocโ€™s existing debt burden. The EUโ€™s financial stability is currently threatened by several converging factors: High Sovereign Debt: Six EU nations, including France, Italy, Greece, Belgium, Spain, and Portugal, have public debt exceeding the size of their yearly economic output (GDP). Franceโ€™s debt is approaching 120% of GDP, with a budget deficit above 5%, breaching EU fiscal rules. Stagnant Growth: The EU is experiencing a "competitiveness crisis" with sluggish growth (forecast at 0.9% to 1.1% in 2025), lagging behind the US and China due to overregulation, low innovation, and demographic strains. Monetary Pressure: The euro has weakened significantly, trading around $1.12, reflecting concerns about Europeโ€™s growth potential and fiscal discipline. However, some officials argue that a total collapse is not inevitable. While the EU faces a "perfect storm" of energy shocks, political fragmentation, and rising borrowing costs, the bloc has demonstrated resilience by navigating previous crises like the Eurozone debt crisis and Brexit. The long-term outlook depends on whether member states can implement structural reforms and restore fiscal discipline to prevent a deeper financial meltdown. AI-generated answer.
