My source told me that the video came from the Chinese Communist Party's public security system. According to this source, the CCP's public security apparatus has close ties to these scam compounds and has planted undercover operatives inside various compounds. The source also says that these operations maintain close relationships with senior officials in the CCP's political and legal affairs system, and that the investors and managers behind the compounds are actually proxies, or front men, for powerful CCP officials. The source specifically named Sun Lijun, a former Chinese vice minister of public security, and Meng Jianzhu, a former secretary of the CCP's Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission, as beneficiaries of these operations. In other words, according to my source, these scam compounds simply could not operate without the CCP's support. My source further revealed that a telecommunications company in Henan Province sold hundreds of thousands of SIM cards to these scam compounds.
