After hearing the news of Kyler Murray being bench for Carson Wentz, JJ McCarthy immediately reached out to Kyler and offered his support.
The two talked on the phone for over 3 hours, with McCarthy expressing to Kyler that this is “not his fault.”
McCarthy also instructed Kyler to “stand tall and hold your head up high, a new day will come.”
Both McCarthy and Murray had their worst statistical season under Kevin O’Connell. 🍿👀

The Giants have offered a 2027 2nd + 2028 2nd for Jonathan Taylor.
The Colts continue to hold out for additional compensation from New York, most likely their 2027 3rd as well.
