Notice it’s IMPOSSIBLE for the device to trip the sear actuator or sear, since the sear actuator has to move THE OPPOSITE WAY in order to engage the sear and fire the striker. Notice how the sear does NOT MOVE while the device is pushing the trigger bar forward.

They’re not machine guns. Congress defined machine guns in the NFA and forced reset triggers do not meet that definition. This settlement recognizes what the courts already said - the ATF cannot ban what Congress did not. This is a win for the rule of law and the Constitution.

NOTE: A few factors caused the slide to not rack fully rearwards and achieve enough momentum to force the reset. I decided to use this video specifically to demonstrate clearly that this is NOT an auto sear. The design works very well.
