AI found holes in software most of the internet runs on.
Then attackers showed up with Claude Code on their machines.
19,000 firewalls scanned. 25 rooted. One in a US government-affiliated network.
The full Black October story:
Fine print: both firms are cleared to assemble servers, not just buy chips. Overall H200 shipments to China are still small, and Beijing limits imports. Nvidia says it makes no sense for China's military to depend on American tech. The memo reporting relies on anonymous sources, and no charges exist.

America's AI chip controls just lost to an empty office.
The US cleared about two dozen Chinese firms to handle Nvidia H200s. The New York Times checked the listed offices of at least two of them.
Empty.
One has owners tied to a fund on the US blacklist. The other shares staff and patents with Inspur, a server maker the US blacklisted.
No report shows chips reached those two firms. That isn't the point. The license did.
Commerce says it carefully reviews every application for national security risks.
Same week, the FT reports a US memo described Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang as having a romantic relationship with a customer's executive, a woman US intelligence believes was recruited by China. Nobody has accused Huang of wrongdoing. Nvidia declined to comment. China denies it.
America treats AI chips like weapons.
The reporters did what the paperwork apparently didn't. They went to the address.
JUST IN: 🇺🇸🇨🇳 US reportedly approved Nvidia $NVDA chip sales to Chinese firms with empty offices and suspicious ties.
Fine print: $5 billion is my math, 34.5% of $14.58B. Customer B's identity comes from Bloomberg's single source. TIME's Oval Office account comes from an unnamed official. Claude's role in the raid was never confirmed, and it's unclear if Opus 5.5 is live in Grok Bot or what SpaceX pays for it.

Elon Musk said Claude's logo looks like an anal sphincter.
Now one customer pays 34.5% of SpaceX's revenue. Bloomberg says it's Anthropic.
And Grok Bot is getting Claude as a back end.
Worst hater in AI, or best landlord?
