Hi Folks, Hope you are having a nice Sunday. In early January this year I complained to Birmingham City Council about over 100 combined cracks and potholes in roads at Yardley Cemetery in Birmingham. After visiting the Cemetery today, I am so pleased road works have now been undertaken to resurface these terrible roads. Part of me still remains sad though to think whilst on site with all equipment Birmingham City Council couldn’t just resurface the whole roads rather than repair in large patches especially when millions of pounds are made in profit each year by all Cemeteries across Birmingham and the UK as a whole. I hope every single person at rest in the Cemetery grounds if looking down is now much happier with how the roads look and they feel respected. If there are issues with roads in your area, please do contact your Local Council or the owners if a private Cemetery and keep onto them until they sort it out. If you could retweet this please to show people issues can get resolved as it might encourage them to complain about these too in the areas where they live. Thank you ♥️🙏🏻
