SARS-CoV-2 causes cumulative damage.
Much of the population is unaware of that crucial fact.
In many cases, this is because important information was omitted from their view.
What evidence have you come across that broadly illustrates the cumulative damage in COVID?

MICROSCOPY.
Making the invisible visible since 1590.
(Yes, those little white balls are actually immune cells flowing through the tinniest blood vessels! Imaged painlessly, non-invasively through the skin)

So, we couldn't install ventilation systems in schools, cinemas, office buildings, etc., while they were empty in 2020, but mid- nineteenth-century engineers could raise entire buildings and streets in downtown Chicago, by as much as 14 feet, in response to water-borne illnesses. – at Galway, Ireland

I've had a few people privately concede that they know that repeat COVID infections are harmful but they try not to think about it because it's too overwhelming.
I think a decent amount of people understand this but they are stuck.

📈 The Worst of the Pandemic Is Decades Away
SARS-CoV-2 is not just a respiratory virus that occasionally causes Long Covid. It's a systemic, multi-organ pathogen whose damage outlives the acute infection - and because different organs fail on different timetables, the population-wide effects won't plateau all at once. They'll arrive in waves, spread over decades. 🧵

"Acute infection should no longer be treated as a short-lived episode with only temporary consequences. It can be an origin point for long-term chronic disease, a modifier of chronic illness and a possible accelerator of biological ageing"

"Getting infected trains a child's immune system!" We've all heard this claim.
But five groundbreaking studies focusing on children and young people prove the exact opposite: repeated COVID infections don't "exercise" the immune system—they compound damage and increase risks

Our new work using virus-specific T cells as biosensors in Long COVID. These data point to viral persistence detected by T cells and some level of T cell exhaustion. Excellent work by @markmpainter biorxiv.org/content/10.64898…

It is even worse than this. Biden dropped the Covid plan he ran on, put a hedge fund manager in charge, and ignored medical recommendations. This led to hundreds of thousands of unnecessary deaths, turning Omicron into a mass disabling event, and making Covid the number one chronic disease in children.

Remember, none of this is inevitable.
Overstretching healthcare systems for profit, clumping infectious patients together in poorly ventilated rooms without PPE and antivirals is a political choice.
Healthcare is a public good, not a cash cow for insatiable corporate interests.
"Everyone who caught COVID before will catch it again, because your immunity is no longer going to work. Your immune system tends to forget about COVID fairly quickly, and then you also have it mutating away from the immunity that you do have."

The current Covid-19 wave this past month has been the worst in years and the winter season hasn’t even begun yet.
I had AI analyze social posts from sick people across different platforms and then give a score based on how bad/prevalent it is.
It hasn’t been this bad since I got Long Covid in 2023. It’s sad to see people just now beginning their chronic sickness journey completely unaware of what’s at stake.
Razor blade sore throat, blood circulation issues, heart palpitations, GI issues, never-ending cough, 104 fever, ER visits, losing taste/smell, brain fog and fatigue that lasts months from one infection.
Feel free to gloss by this post, but it may be a costly mistake. No exaggeration. I wish I could go back in time…

The COVID-conscious are right because their position is built on the four most robust findings in the SARS-CoV-2 literature: silent transmission, asymptomatic organ damage, compounding reinfection risk, and massive societal cost. The burden of proof now rests on those who claim infection is harmless, not on those who take precautions.

Children are 72% more likely to develop type 1 diabetes in the 6 months after a COVID infection. The virus can damage insulin-producing cells directly through ACE2 receptors, or trigger the immune system to destroy them.

Protection against COVID infection in a widely available monoclonal antibody would be a fantastic development.
Eagerly watching this one.
🚨📢 BIG update from Invivyd on the VYD2311 monoclonal antibody program.
As a reminder, VYD2321 is an intramuscular mAb designed as a vaccine alternative for the broad population, with an efficacy expectation of providing 70-90% protection against symptomatic COVID for 3 months, and 50% at the 1-year mark.
• The LIBERTY trial demonstrated safety and tolerability superior to mRNA vaccine (wow, big surprise)
• Importantly, co-administration with a COVID vaccine demonstrated no interference with vaccine-induced neutralizing titers
• Following a meeting with U.S. FDA, Invivyd will be submitting a BLA application for accelerated approval, based on safety and antiviral titers. This will be done while keeping clinical outcomes in the main DECLARATION trial blinded, so they can continue accumulating COVID events to ensure statistical power for the efficacy estimate of 70-90%

Hi.
In fact there is a +50% mortality rate in ppl with long covid (vs. non long covid), with a striking +350% in major cardiovascular event including a funny +750% acute ischemic heart disease, a sweet +250% stroke, or a mild +350% heart failure.

The latest "Ziga" mask from Zhou Liang features an upgraded sealing ring and a new-generation support frame. It retains the three-layer composite, four-way stretch material—which is airtight yet thinner, lighter, and offers a closer fit—while the new Series 3 support frame significantly enhances wearing comfort. Laboratory data indicates that the new sealing ring offers a 40% increase in vertical elasticity and a 120% increase in horizontal elasticity. Test reports confirm the sealing ring is free of fluorescent agents and airtight, meeting the Class A safety requirements (for infant and toddler products) of the GB18401-2010 standard (*National General Safety Technical Code for Textile Products*).
