I think OAU students need to stop the habit of always looking for an opportunity to call out union leaders. Criticism is good when it is constructive. Union leaders should be held accountable, and nobody is above criticism. However, what I've observed over the past few weeks, especially on Twitter, is becoming unnecessary. Some of you are constantly looking for an opportunity to drag union leaders. . Whether you like it or not, there are certain decisions and policies that are simply beyond the scope and control of the union. It is unfortunate because the essence of a student union is to be a strong institution that management should take seriously and, to some extent, be wary of. Sadly, the reality is that the current union operates within limitations that have been imposed over the years. These are the circumstances they met, and it is important that we acknowledge that. We can hold our leaders accountable without making it a habit to antagonise them at every opportunity.
