مجھے یہ اعلان کرتے ہوئے خوشی اور اعزاز محسوس ہو رہا ہے کہ پاکستان پریس کلب یوکے اور پاکستان پریس کلب یوکے انٹرنیشنل کے اتحاد کے بعد مجھے متفقہ طور پر پاکستان پریس کلب یوکے کا چیئرمین منتخب کیا گیا ہے۔
برطانیہ میں پاکستان @PakistaninUK کے ہائی کمشنر جناب ٹیپو عثمان @Tipuusman کا خصوصی شکریہ، جنہوں نے پاکستان ہائی کمیشن لندن میں ہمارے وفد کی میزبانی کی اور پرتپاک استقبال کیا۔
میں برطانیہ بھر سے اپنے تمام صحافی ساتھیوں کا تہہ دل سے شکر گزار ہوں جنہوں نے مجھ پر اعتماد کیا اور یہ اہم ذمہ داری سونپی۔
میری کوشش ہوگی کہ بیرون ملک مقیم پاکستانی صحافیوں کی فلاح و بہبود، پیشہ ورانہ حقوق اور مسائل کے حل کے لیے بھرپور کردار ادا کروں، صحافی برادری کے اتحاد کو مضبوط بناؤں اور عالمی سطح پر پاکستان کے مثبت تشخص کو اجاگر کرنے کے لیے کام کروں۔
یہ عہدہ میرے لیے اعزاز کے ساتھ ایک بڑی ذمہ داری بھی ہے، جسے میں پوری لگن، دیانت داری اور خلوص کے ساتھ نبھانے کی کوشش کروں گا۔

Dr. Abdul Wahid Abu Raas, Foreign Minister of the Houthi government, has given his first-ever interview to a Pakistani journalist, Javed Chaudhry.

The KP Government had agreed to sign a written agreement and submit an implementation plan within 72 hours, covering
• Reconsideration of the Police Act 2026 in light of the security situation and the need to protect security matters from political interference
• Preventing terrorists from operating freely or finding safe havens in the province
• Unequivocal condemnation of TTP/TTA and all other terrorist groups
• Support for the national policy on Afghan refugees, including repatriation and dismantling Afghan camps in KP
• No contact with the Interim Afghan Government
• Substantial funding for counterterrorism operations and the police
• Full provincial ownership of counterterrorism measures and stronger cooperation with the Armed Forces
• Decisions on counterterrorism in the former FATA and merged districts
• Implementation of the National Action Plan
Last night, during the final phase of negotiations, the KP Government backed out of these commitments. Security must not be politicised while the province is at War
Credible sources claim I quote “before or during the Long March, any attempt—under any pretext, excuse or cover—to create unrest or violence near security forces personnel or installations would carry grave and far lasting consequences for those steering, organising or leading such mobs and miscreants”.
Referring to the Corps Commanders’ Conference, the source stressed the point that “ those planning to be the part of the March must read the press release of the Conference very carefully—and more than once”
