Being a Star City Spectator for the first time got my Magic motors churning, so I entered the modern challenge. Lost in the finals to the best matchup. This deck is so awesome 🦎👑 GGs to all opponents!

I wrote about how I landed on my 16th place LA RC list.
Why I played Dryad, why Analyst is garbage, and Rumble is a trap.
I also write about how and why the Amulet Titan community is suffering from deckbuilding psychosis.

A very late article reflecting on RC LA. It's quite short, only an 8 minute read. I didn't end up saying as much as I had planned, but that's okay, I'm finally happy with this version. Hope you guys enjoy, and well wishes to Hartford and EW players ☺️

If you're streaming the arena directs and you have a box win count, but not a times entered count, you're being dishonest to your audience and encouraging them to gamble.
Last week I went 8-7 with Neoform at the GP in Dallas. This week I finished 10-5 at the RC with Prowess. These pair of medium finishes suitably summarize of my lackluster year altogether.
But they’re here because they, too, love the community. And if you’re enjoying Magic, why stop? If the game is good, if seeing your friends is worth it, if you like the traveling, whatever—if you want to come back to these events, you don’t need to stop yourself.
