Gears of War E-Day #GearsofWarEDay

Following the closure of Bioware, I was able to speak with some employees from the studio to learn more about the development of the next Mass Effect. I also learned that certain diversity-focused elements were removed from demos shown to EA executives. 👇👇

I genuinely mean this. Although online wasn’t perfect, it could be excused thanks to it all being extremely dated. During that time, it was practically still a new experience and growing. Even without it, you could definitely still enjoy the game. Campaign was amazing. For a game to be called E-Day and said to be the worst day ever because of the invasion…it didn’t feel anymore different than Gears Of War 1. Gears Of War 2 was more E-Day than anything. A GIANT WORM destroying cities in order to sink Jacinto, the last hold out of the Gears. They mostly were constantly on a mission doing something. Never a break. Never time to relax. Never not on edge. It was truly sad as well. Seeng all the deaths and everything. E-Day has deaths but they either aren’t executed right, are executed right but hold no value or are made so bad…just nvm. It sucks pretty much. Only one death got me good in that game. Meanwhile Gears 2 has plenty of emotional deaths. No time to fucking mourn though. Time to get back to work to defeat the threat. Mind you Gears 2 based of the first game had way less locus after they blew up their home. E-Day should have had no safe locations. No time to settle down to go to an apartment, chill at a stadium or even time to mourn. I should be under constant threat because it’s E-DAY! I should not feel safe NO WHERE! That’s the entire point of it being the worst day imaginable but it just turned out to be another standard apocalypse. I just expected more from coalition but it seems they simply cannot deliver. CLOSE the studio.

Insane difficulty was stupidly hard at times and wasn’t play tested, but that aside, Gears of War E-day was the epitome of AAA exclusives. Just find a better writer to invest people in the story and we might have a 10/10 next time. Everything else in the game was phenomenal.

🤔 Why did "Resonance: A Plague Tale" underperform? Well... It only scored a "78" for starters Not many games in the sub-80s sell that well. They're mostly seen as aggressively "mid" and usually skipped until a price drop I don't make the rules...

The left is currently doing their most recent psyop, talking about BioWare as if their closure is some great tragedy and trying to make video game culture seem like it's dominated by leftists. They're even botting likes to extreme degrees. But they've made a grave error. And that error is... not realizing just how much the average person fucking *despised* Veilguard and everything it stood for. All they're going to accomplish is radicalizing even more people against them with this "save BioWare, the next Mass Effect woulda been heckin' amazin', the private equity/EA chuds killed a beloved studio!" shit. We saw Veilguard. It was more than enough for anyone who isn't just straight up fucking dumb, to know that BioWare was dead and EARNED closure. And leftists killed it.
