Today at 2pm (Senate Ed and Youth, 307 CLOB) we're expected to get the state's first ever hearing on school funding for students in poverty. Georgia remains 1 of only 6 states without this money that schools desperately need to ensure every student reaches their potential. #GaPol

Earlier today HB 127 passed unanimously out of the House Education committee. Next stop: Rules committee before going (hopefully) to the full House chamber before crossover day

Fund Georgia's Future supports HB 127, a necessary step to increase language access for Georgians that speak a language other than English. Members of the coalition will be giving testimony, some of which have driven from far corners of the state.
