Took the silly story I said would never see the light of day and expand it a tiny bit. It may see the light after all. I don't love it, at least yet, but it potentially has potential.

After some procrastination including a really goofy new story that will never see the light of day, I made my submission!

When you work on a submission to a small press and it's ready so you do a final run through to realize something toes the line with a not-wishlist item and you're unsure which side of the line it falls and you want to be respectful, but now are questioning all your life choices.

Not exactly spooky, but a favorite, "witch" of mine. 🤣

Last night the kids wanted to play a game 11 made up last year. It was Christmas themed. We played it, because what's the harm. And now on this cold and rainy day, all I want is to put on a Christmas movie, cuddle under a blanket and sip some hot cocoa. That's the harm. 🤣

Feeling a rewrite of a Storystorm manuscript I wrote in January coming on.

One can only hope! 🤣

Last night at supper: 7 (to my husband): What's your dream job? I know mom's is to be a writer. My husband: To be a stay-at-home-dad because my wife is a billion dollar author. 🤣🤣🤣 Keep dreaming.

New draft of one of my heart stories. It has become commercial but the ending will melt your heart like literary fiction. I am so happy for how this story has evolved. It's not quite there yet, but it's getting closer. I'm loving my @KidlitFirefly mentorship!

Nothing has stroked my ego like my husband and kids informing me that they decided to call my pumpkin bread "Hobbit Harvest Bread."

Thought a mouse ran across the checkout line. No. It was just a random Lego wheel that fell out of my purse when I got my wallet out. I guess it's not so random if you know my kids.

I waited a week and took a weed whacker to it. I'm down to 620 words! Now it's off to my mentor. I can't wait to keep improving this story and strengthening my craft. @KidlitFirefly
