⠀ 𝓣here are scars on my body that never healed. But they remind me of something important: every wound is proof that I survived the last fight. ⠀

She watches him go — a soft exhale from her lips once she’s left alone with her thoughts. Before anything else, she finishes her coffee, taking her time with the silence, before she gets dressed. Frank had left her some jeans and a black long sleeved top; her size, with no idea —
"Then in that case, I'll see you when I come back." With that he began to take his leave, but not before arching his neck and lifting his head as if he'd nearly forgotten something, on his heels turning back to grab a silver pistol from a crate before then turning to the exit.

— he’d gotten the clothing from. There’s a faint scent of woman’s perfume on them. Returning to the main area of the bunker, she pauses a moment. Now would be the ideal time to snoop around, to see what other things Frank has hidden in this place he’s made for —

— himself, but ultimately, she opts against it. Something inside of her telling her she doesn’t need to. Instead, she heads outside. She doesn’t remember this city she finds herself in, so to make some use of her time, she’ll wander around — refamiliarise herself.

“I don’t think that needs two of us.” She sits herself down, looking over at him. “Go do your thing. Don’t let me get in the way.”
"To catch a predator," a rare quip for the pulpy killer who leans his weight against the railing, eyes trailing her waltz as he sat idly by.

She stores his comment about a devil away — for now. Taking another sip of her coffee as he moves to put his coat on. “Depends on where you’re going.” She asks, moving out of the kitchen area — if it can be called that.

Around the stool was a long-tailed black leather trench coat. Taking it by the collar, he'd effortlessly glide it around his back as he headed towards an upward hill of steps. "Look, I'm headed out; you can stay or come, but you do put on some pants first... or just underwear."

The mug is slid over to her, and she lifts it into her hands; letting the warmth permeate through the ceramic to her. He asks if she’d seen a devil; Elektra taking a sip of the hot coffee before she answers. It gives her a moment to think. Did she see a devil? She remembers —

"In these dreams.." he started, following with a short, yet poignant pause which added a layer of dramatization to his words. ".. you ever seen a devil?"

— blurs of red, and a man. A man with dark glasses over his eyes and fiery red hair. But not a devil. “No. Should I be remembering one?”

“Not yet. I get.. flashes, in my dreams sometimes. Still trying to work those out.” She leans against the wall, arms folding across her chest as he makes the drink.

"You been any closer into finding out what happened to ya?" questioned Castle, hovering over her as he'd open a cabinet door to retrieve a small bottle of sugar.

Knock knock, @TedBergstresser. She’s clad in a long coat, sunglasses over her eyes shielding the sunlight of the afternoon. Hopefully, he’s home.

“Caffeine is caffeine.” She nods, eyeing him as he sets about making her a drink. She still hadn’t gotten her memories back, though she’d sometimes get flashes of events in her dreams. Things that don’t make any sense to her — yet.
Frank spun in his black leather cushions, wheels gravitating towards her as she'd scavenge for something half edible in his can of a bunker they were both stuffed inside of. Slowly, he rose to his feet, coming to her side. "I got coffee if that'll do you any good."

She’s been out all night — and is still sitting above the city.

She’s used to the rebuttals herself, used to people looking down on her for what she does. It doesn’t change anything; what they do makes a difference, a real difference, and they can handle that weight on their souls. “Got any tea here?” xitter.cf/SCOURGEOFCRIME/status/…

Things have always been a little different for her. She does things in the name of her justice, sure, but she also takes the money if someone offers her a job. She’s less duty bound to rid the world of its evils than he is — but she respects his unflinching compulsions. —

— “There should be more people out there that do what you do.” She muses, before she walks away from where he sits, removing the towel from her hair to let it air dry instead.

She stops over his shoulder, glancing at the screen as it plays out in front of her. “… you never stop, do you? Chasing scum.”

“Maybe a little more digging here before we try out Italy. Where did you last see these guys?”
"Somewhere in Italy - if I were to guess, from the tone of those I've been failing? West. But it's inconclusive."

His typing has her intrigued; intrigued enough that she starts to walk over to him. “.. what are you doing?”
His focus seemed to be completely elsewhere, fingers tapping at keys. He appeared to be in an online chatroom, exchanging personal photos with an anonymous figure. "Don't mention it, El...try not to use up all the hot water."
