"Was that one liver shot enough for Yan to get the round" Are they watching the same fight as me?

Did those people have an option to keep their share or were they forced to be bought out?

Problably a random reasonable take that goes against the made-up list of ideas you NEED to agree on or else you're deemed right wing.

Mousasi the best MW who has competed in the UFC that did not fight for the title. Probably didn't like him just like they hate Volkov.

That does change things, Sashi should be playing Asia VRS then going forward. It's a little weird though that he was listed as Danish for years if he wasn't actually Danish.

They're clearing pretty badly and not covering eachother well however can't really tell whether they're cheating or just very sloppy from this clip though 😹

Sashi never placed in Asian VRS before the change, BC did. I'd allow BC to qualify but not Sashi. Also nationality shopping should have strict rules; a written statement to Valve 6 months in advance that you're planning to use your other nationality or something of sorts.

@BCGameEsports out of curiosity, how long is asap's contract for?

It's pretty much the same thing for any non EU team. They make the invite cut-off from their region one time and play a tournament with European teams- just 1 or 2 wins keeps them into T1-T2 EU Tournament invite range until they start losing everything.

I don't think BC goes agains the spirit of the rule. They're giving an Australian player and two mongolian players the chance to learn from two of the most decorated players of all time. Sashi however, different story- nationality shopping for VRS 100% goes against the spirit.

For me there is a difference; BC placed themselves into Asia VRS without any rule preventing them. Sashi never did, and the new rule would prevent them from doing so. The difference is only one of them being retroactive.

How is it cheating their way to a major when their core is Asian/ANZ and they got VRS points attending a LAN with this core? If they had made this change 3 months ago, they'd still make it. They will make it next major then, with the same core.

My point was that they didn't get it before the rule changes.

To be honest, the Sashi thing is extra gimmicky because of the double nationality too. In my opinion you should pick the nationality you want to go for and stick with it, and if you want to change it have a 6 month process or something. Sashi also never got their AsiaVRS, BC did.

The Asian teams that get pushed out (the lowest ranked Asian teams) don't even count on making the major consistently. They're not the best teams with Asian cores. They might make this major now, but not next.

Don't have a problem with the change, do have a problem with it affecting retroactively when orgs have made investments. Same with them randomly changing the sticker system for last major. Hurts the scene. Also, the game itself dying and casuals losing interest hurts too.

How is it stealing spots when you have 3 players from that region? Like these 3 players also grew up there, played in that scene. I understand that the Sashi thing with nationality switching is abusing but asap, mzinho and senzu have been asia region since always
