Put your seat belt on - here are 10 Big Ones: 1. many are worried because there's built in resistance (from wife, from extended family, from other friends) to him making the kind of calls he knows deep down he should make -he's not sure how to navigate that 2. he sure would be interested in an older man/pastor/father who could listen to his situation and offer some sort of trustworthy counsel, but he doesn't either know where these guys are OR trust that they have the first clue about his scene in 2026 3. he tends to do a ton of research/reading/watching/listening (there's NO shortage of interesting resources or voices out there) - but he also knows that INFO isn't changing his scene at his home address 4. he feels like he is the problem - he feels like he should be working MORE to solve the financial horizon, but simultaneously feels like every hour he's not spending with his kids is a kind of dereliction of duty. He's caught and he feels terrible no matter which path he chooses. 5. his wife is supportive, but he also thinks that maybe her trust in him is starting to slip - it's kind of a nagging thought at the back of his mind. He feels like he is failing his people, but also doesn't know how to right the ship. 6. he's kinda pissed (even if he doesn't say it out loud) that the local church is extracting time, resources, and energy but offers little ACTUAL help in practical instruction - that's IF he is faithfully attending a church at all. 7. he wants other men around him - a close fellowship of men who pray with him, encourage him, and rip some good hours together, but male relationships at this stage of the game also kinda feel indulgent and his wife isn't thrilled about every hour he isn't at the home helping her 8. he is very familiar with his wife's (itemized) mental load - how could he NOT be acquainted with her stress levels and anxieties? she mentions them. often. 9. he is baffled that the older generations are not actively investing time and assistance (and actual money resources) in their own grandchildren - he'd prefer them to be actively engaged in his kid's lives, but they're on their phones and involved in their 'interests' rather than building into their own people. 10. there is REAL anxiety about work/income and the rising cost of everything - nobody is living like a rap star, far from it, but the ends simply DO NOT MEET. --- This seem right to you?
