Field sketches are such a fantastic method for students to learn as they can used for any geographical topic. They also provide a moment of calm, quiet connection with nature in an otherwise busy fieldwork day.
Where's your favourite spot to field sketch?

Many schools I work with say they have throw ropes but don't know how to use them... if you are doing rivers #fieldwork this term I urge you to watch this video and practice using a throw rope with the children in your school grounds. youtube.com/watch?v=wRYxrSzk…

Such a privilege to have worked with so many young people, exploring Norfolk. #NationalFestivalofFieldwork
Our GCSE Geographers had another brilliant week in Norfolk!
From urban fieldwork in Norwich 🏙️ to exploring the coast at Cromer 🌊☀️, students gained vital field skills in a unique setting.
This year marks 20 years of our annual trip! 🎉 To celebrate, students entered a "20" themed photo comp 📸 – entries are rolling in and they're fantastic!
Over 2,000 Oaks Park students have experienced this trip over the years. We’re proud to give them the chance to study a contrasting locality and stay at UEA’s university campus 🏫
