Risk-Limiting Audit (RLA) creator Professor Philip Stark has established that machine-marked paper summaries cannot be audited against voter intent. An audit merely recounts the paper printout that the machine produced; it cannot tell you what the voter saw on the touchscreen if malicious software intercepted the choice before printing.[8] This is Stark writing alone: "This makes auditing elections that were conducted primarily using BMDs meaningless: an audit could easily confirm an incorrect outcome, because a BMD-generated paper trail is not a trustworthy record of voter intent." And on why auditors can't catch the touchscreen problem: "the BMD could print something else on the paper, through error or malfeasance. Only the voter can check for that: auditors can only see what's on the paper. This is where security falls apart for BMDs." stat.berkeley.edu/.../Prepri… #GeorgiaElections #ElectionSecurity #VotingRights #GeorgiaPolitics #CyberSecurity #Democracy #gapol

Georgia senators voted on a proposal to completely exempt the first $100k of income for married couples from state income tax. $100k for families tax free. Immediate relief. Josh McLaurin voted NO.

🚨 DFCS NEEDS TO GET ITS ACT TOGETHER! A Georgia mother reportedly accumulated nearly $13,000 in foster-care charges, including charges after several of her children were no longer in state custody. Now, a federal court has ordered DFCS to address erroneous billing practices. This degree of ineptitude, while also running massive surprises deficits, is unacceptable. DFCS needs to immediately get its act together.

Please read the attached press release so you understand how far Fulton will go to hide the truth. I have been targeted simply because I tried to get Fulton to do their job. Click the links in the press release and you will see what Fulton has done. They put this on the letters mailed out to folks that Fulton illegally registered at USPS Stores. Fulton failed to do their job. As opposed to admitting it and telling people that it is unlawful to say they live in USPS boxes & these people must register to vote where they live, Fulton simply went after the messenger. Fulton doubled down and blocked me from being on the Fulton Board of Elections both in 2023 and again in 2025. That case made it all the way to the GA Supreme Court where we are waiting on a ruling. I was the first person EVER blocked from being seated on the Fulton Board of Elections because of the spin Fulton put on this. Several Fulton politicians even campaigned on blocking me from the board (because not having equal elections oversight is somehow saving democracy ????) I found: 10,000+ people registered to vote multiple times. 2,000+ people registered at USPS Stores, UPS Stores, Virtual Mailboxes, Jury Duty Parking Lots and more. Thousands moved out of Fulton and are now registered in their new state. Fulton still will not remove them. Hundreds without known birthdays. Someone was listed as "No Name No Name" and "Missing Missing" as their names. Fulton failed to do their job, but somehow I'm the bad guy.

🚨 GEORGIA ADDS PAPER BACKUPS FOR VOTER CHECK-INS Georgia election officials are now requiring handwritten voter check-in records alongside electronic records following issues during the May primary. This is a positive step, yet it is also an acknowledgment that we shouldn’t trust these softwares despite all the gaslighting. But keeping paper records is only part of the process. What happens when the paper and electronic records don’t match? That is why it is essential for the General Assembly to codify procedures for reconciliation when discrepancies are found. Furthermore, if we can’t trust software to properly check voters in, why are we trusting software to count votes? Georgians deserve elections that we can trust.

😂 WAIT—DID WE JUST GO FROM “DEPLORABLES” TO “HORRIBLES”? In this clip, Fulton County’s attorney wants to address the “parade of horribles.” Is that like deplorables, but with a marching band? 🥁🤣 For clarity, “parade of horribles” is a legal expression for a series of feared consequences—not him directly calling Republican nominees “horribles.” But after the earlier “election deniers,” scorpions, and animals-in-a-cage discussion, this hearing certainly has a colorful vocabulary. His argument here: There’s no reason to think the heavens will fall if commissioners have “unlimited discretion” over appointments because… “They’re public servants.” Well, that settles it! Somebody put “Trust us—we’re public servants” on official stationery. 🙃 A justice promptly questions that premise, saying it seems unlikely the General Assembly would allow unlimited discretion in this area and suggesting lawmakers could revisit the issue. That’s the serious question beneath the comedy: What limits protect party representation if commissioners can keep rejecting the party’s nominees? The heavens don’t have to fall for a legal safeguard to matter. Watch the clip. The “horribles” have entered the parade, and “unlimited discretion” is apparently driving the float. 🎪
🦂 Apparently, Fulton County’s election-board appointment argument now requires a trip to the zoo. We started with a constitutional question. Then came a hypothetical heroin addict, animals in a cage, scorpions, and a warning that we shouldn’t expect a butterfly. 🦋 Sir, we are trying to appoint an election board. How did we end up on Animal Planet? 😂 And yes—“election deniers” makes another appearance. This time, Fulton County’s attorney explicitly says the Republican Party “has nominated election deniers.” For clarity, the heroin-addict example was a hypothetical. The animals and scorpions were his metaphors. But the “election deniers” label was directed at Republican nominees. Meanwhile, a justice brings the discussion back to the actual problem: If commissioners can keep rejecting nominees, how does the law ever guarantee bipartisan representation? The attorney acknowledges that repeated rejection is possible. Then comes this exchange: ⚖️ Justice: “If your argument is correct, the system has been unconstitutional for 60 years.” Attorney: “Absolutely. Well, yes…” Sixty years, scorpions, and another round of “election deniers.” That is quite an argument for refusing the party’s choices. 🤡

Does “Shall” really mean “Shall” - Georgia Supreme Court To Decide Wednesday, Oct. 14 at 10am Tomorrow, Wednesday, October 14th, the Georgia Supreme Court will hear oral arguments Fulton County GOP v. Fulton County Board of Commissioners to determine if Jason Frazier and Julie Adams, appointees of the Fulton County GOP, are required to (“shall”) be appointed to the Fulton County Board of Registrations and Elections (FCBRE). The Fulton County Board of Commissioners has fought this all the way to the Supreme Court. Commissioner Dana Barrett said she was willing to go to jail rather than vote to appoint Jason and Julie to the FCBRE. What are the commissioners so afraid of – truth? Please join us in the courtroom to find out. You can park at Liberty Plaza or take Marta one stop east of Five Points to the Georgia State Capitol exit. The hearing is expected to conclude by noon.
