There's an ongoing narrative in the game of football we need to put an end to right here, right now. You can possess the ball. You can play direct. You can play through the middle or flanks. The end result is goal. Goal is not a pattern & it'll never be. (1

The narrative that Ronaldo leave flair, aesthetics, or dribbling to concentrate on goals needs to end. Ronaldo with all those attributes were raw Ronaldo with raw qualities thus as he grow he begins to understand football beyond the street and raw talent. (2)

Since the day I understood what this guy is talking about in this video, I have been enjoying my life. I don’t stress about anything, win or lose, still the same mood. Nothing on earth matters. Just watch and process it in your brain.
I have been watching this every morning for 11 months now.

Even though you don't understand the "football belong to the fans! jab". Let me make you understand in simple terms; *if it's decided by fans vote then it becomes the most neutral it can ever be*. I know you're educated but common. Sir.
It’s great to see that, even without handing out a trophy and after getting some camps to shell out millions of dollars in vote purchases, the ballon d’or ‘regained’ its credibility. All is well that ends well.

SWALLOW CALORIE TRUTHS THEY DON'T TEACH YOU: – Wheat: Highest of them all. 350+ calories per 100g – Garri: About 290+ calories per 100g – Fufu (Akpu): Less than 150 calories per 100g – Amala / Pounded Yam: Also less than 150 calories per 100g So when you say “I’m eating wheat because it’s healthy” — You’re actually choosing the heaviest, densest, most fat-forming swallow on the list. Avoid wheat. Portion control the rest. Pair with plenty soup and solid protein. And as for semo? Only eat it at gunpoint. Don’t forget to reach out for a well-structured meal plan. That comment hits different when you know WHERE it comes from. When Ronaldo tells Kvara "I know that feeling" - he REALLY knows it. 2014. That wasn't Ronaldo the athlete. That was Ronaldo the martyr. His knee was finished. Tendinosis. The doctors said stop. Ancelotti was begging him to rest. But he couldn't. Because Madrid hadn't won La Decima in 12 years. 12 years of pain. And he carried that cross on a leg that was screaming every single step. He played the Champions League final against Atletico on one leg. You saw it, he couldn't sprint. Couldn't shoot properly for 120 minutes. But in the 120th minute, he still ran. Still begged for the ball. Still scored the penalty to seal it, and took his shirt off to show the world - I'm still here. Even broken, I'm here. Then he went to the World Cup. Portugal needed him, his country was nothing without him. So he went, with a knee wrapped in ice every night, with a thigh that was torn. He couldn't train. He would sit alone in the gym while the others played, with ice on his knee, just staring at the pitch. He scored against Ghana with his left knee basically dead. He gave an assist vs USA in the 95th minute while limping. He gave everything and Portugal still went out in the group stage. And they laughed at him. Said he was finished. No one saw the nights he couldn't sleep from the pain. No one saw him getting injections just to walk. 2014 wasn't his most beautiful year. It was his most human. He won everything while being broken. So when he sends Kvara that message of hope, he does it knowing he was once in his shoes.
🥹🫂 Cristiano Ronaldo’s reply to Kvaratskhelia: “The hardest battles in football are often ones nobody sees. I know that feeling, Kvara. But never forget what brought you this far, and don’t let a difficult moment make you doubt how far you can go. Keep that fire on. Your best is still to come”.

Ever wondered why nobody praises the weighted chest pass? Because only Ronaldo was doing it. Everyone talks about his stepovers. His speed. His finish. No one talks about how he used his chest as a foot. He would take a 40-yard ball out of the sky, full speed, and with one chest touch he would lay it perfectly at his own feet, or to his teammate, with the exact weight so he could keep running without breaking stride. It wasn't a control. It was a PASS. A normal striker chests it, ball bounces up, he has to take another touch, defender recovers. Ronaldo chested it like a prime De Bruyne with his foot. Soft, weighted, into the space. Nobody teaches it because nobody else could do it at 23 mph. That's why you never hear pundits say "weighted chest pass" - only one man in history made it a weapon.
How the hell does Ronaldo have a compilation of shoulder passes? 😭 This is crazy🔥🐐 .

I don’t know what happened recently but I love the fact Cristiano Ronaldo fans began recently making comps of every attribute of his that is overlooked. Because he is the greatest goal scorer of all time a lot of people do not realize how good he is at other things. So much so that when people are asked about players with the best first touch in history you only hear names like Zidane, Mahrez, Berbatov and Messi. I have seen Ronaldo dead the ball falling from over 50M in the air with his weak foot, not just dead it but arrange it perfectly to take a shot (and then score btw) with his right foot from range 😭 just typing it you don’t know how insane that is. A player that started as a Right midfielder, has the highest number of assists in the UCL isn’t even considered an elite passer by the media even though he creates more big chances than a lot of their favorite players. Ultimately if you are so good at one thing, it will overshadow the other things you are also great at and if you don’t remind people that you have all the skill set, they will try and change history. Love him or hate him but this is the most complete player in history.

This post is golden. Should be kept for historical evidence. But for me seeing Leo with 8 balon dor I know how the story ends.
FIFA needs a post-Messi story. Messi, Adidas, Barcelona, small dribbler, humble boy. Mbappé is Nike, like Ronaldo. Mbappé is fast, powerful, alpha, says what he thinks, owns his image rights. FIFA can't control him. Lamine Yamal is perfect for them. 19 years old, La Masia, Barcelona, left-footed, Adidas athlete, plays like Messi. He is the sequel FIFA always wanted. Messi left, so they need Messi 2.0. Adidas needs a new Messi after Messi retires, because Nike has Ronaldo and Mbappé. So the machine started. Ballon d'Or 2024, they give narrative to Yamal for winning Euro. Golden Boy, Kopa Trophy, all pushed to Yamal. Every time Mbappé has a bad game, Marca puts Yamal on the cover as "the future". Every time Yamal dribbles past two players, FIFA posts it 10 times. When Mbappé scored 3 vs Barcelona, they talked about Yamal's one assist. It's Messi vs Ronaldo 2.0, but this time FIFA learned from their mistake. With Ronaldo they let him fight back and win 5 Ballon d'Ors. With Mbappé they are trying to kill the fight early. They are trying to make him the villain before he becomes the king.

Ronaldo beat them in pace, they invented "fake runs." Ronaldo beat them with skill, they invented "natural football." Ronaldo beat them on the wings, they invented False 9. Ronaldo beat them in the media, they invented "loyalty." Ronaldo beat them in goals, they invented assists stats. When they found out he had assists too, they invented "pre-assist." He did it solo, they started collaborating. He spoke up, they made him the black sheep. But we know better. We know better. 🐐

I stand with a man that is very, very accountable. See, regardless of whatever issue, Ronaldo is a man of his word, and he expects the people around him to stand by theirs too. That is just the kind of person he is. He is not angry because he did not play. He is angry because, from his account of what happened, Jorge Jesus did not stand by his word. There is a huge difference. And this is where people are missing the point. You can disagree with Ronaldo. You can even believe Jorge Jesus had every right to change his tactical decision during the game. A coach has that authority. But if you make an agreement with someone, especially privately, and that agreement changes, the least you can do is communicate properly and take responsibility for it. For Ronaldo, this is clearly bigger than being left on the bench. It is about trust. And honestly, I respect that. I would rather deal with someone who tells me exactly where I stand, even if I don’t like what I’m hearing, than someone who gives me his word and then acts like the conversation never happened. Ronaldo has always been extremely demanding of himself and of the people around him. Sometimes that personality can be difficult, but the same standard he holds himself to is the standard he expects from others. You don’t have to agree with how he handled everything. I don’t even think Ronaldo is above criticism here. Walking out of a national team camp is serious, especially as captain, and he himself has acknowledged that there should be consequences for his actions. But reducing the entire situation to Ronaldo is angry because he didn’t play is just lazy analysis and hypocrisy. This was never simply about 30 minutes of football. It was about a promise, a subsequent understanding, and whether both sides were willing to stand by what they agreed. And when trust is broken, sometimes the reaction is about much more than the original disagreement.
🚨🇵🇹 OFFICIAL! CRISTIANO RONALDO STATEMENT: “This is the truth on what has happened with Jorge Jesus”. As I promised, I decided to recount, in the first person and directly, the circumstances surrounding the last training camp of the National Team. After the 2026 World Cup I prepared a letter to the Portuguese people, which I still keep, with the words I want to address to them when I leave our team for good. At the end of the competition, already on the flight back from the United States, the President of the Federation asked and insisted that I reconsider the decision to leave, because the FPF wanted me to continue. Right afterwards he asked me for my opinion on the name of the current head coach, which he was considering alongside other names he did not reveal to me. I told the President of the Federation that, in my opinion, it would be the right choice. That is why, on the day the current head coach was presented, I was genuinely happy with the choice. It was the right option, as the results are confirming. A few days later I received a first contact from the new national team coach saying he would like to meet me in person. I said yes and we scheduled it for the end of my holidays. We met at the Cidade do Futebol, where my club was holding its pre-season training camp. That day the coach told me he was counting on me and that my presence was fundamental to his project. He presented me, right there, with a plan for my participation. He told me I would play the first match and the last one, and that for reasons of physical management he would always make three to four changes per match. At that point he raised the possibility of me not travelling with the national team to Norway and Denmark. He proposed that I play the first match and stay in Portugal, then rejoin before the match at the Dragão. I refused this proposal immediately. It seemed obvious to me that I could not accept it. It was not because I would not play the matches abroad that I would stop captaining our team. That privilege of staying in Portugal would not be a good example. The coach ended up agreeing with my analysis. This conversation was attended by Simão Coutinho, sporting director of Al Nassr, the person to whom the current coach reported throughout last season and one of those responsible for his signing by the club in 2025. On the eve of the start of the camp the coach came to my house in Lisbon, at his request, for another conversation with me. The conversation was calm and all the principles agreed in August were maintained. I played the match at Alvalade and, although substituted, I made no problem of it. I put the armband on Bruno Fernandes myself, far from imagining that I might be taking my last steps as a player and captain of the National Team. What mattered to me that day was our victory. Winning is always good; in Portugal and for my country, even better. At lunchtime on the day of the match in Norway, an assistant to the coach came to the table where the group was having lunch and informed me that the coach wanted to speak to me. To my absolute surprise, the coach asked me if I was fit to play 30 minutes. I was fully focused on my physical recovery, integrated with my teammates as always, and thinking that I would not play that day. Without any problem. This request was something outside my physical recovery and training plan — because I was only going to play on the 4th at the Dragão — but of course I said yes. He replied that I should then be ready because I would play 30 minutes. The rest everyone knows. I warmed up from half-time, watched the minutes go by, and was not called. The coach had broken his word to me.
