It’s officially Welcome Weekend! I’ve been ringing all summer in order to remind myself you’d all return. And now you’re back and I will KEEP ON RINGING ALL DAY LONG!!!
Yea, I am singing you some new songs. I prefer the classic chimes but some people prefer Rick Astley. So, I’m never gonna let you down.
I have to admit, the birds chirping this morning make a more beautiful sound than I do...but it's close. In the pantheon of beautiful sounds, bird choruses are number one, and I am number two.
I don't know how to say this without sounding sappy...but, I love you, students! Thank you for coming back, and thank you for masking up so diligently. I hope you can hear my love ringing out to you every hour. #itschimeforahug
Dr. Martin Luther King’s “Let Freedom Ring” speech. As a bell, I know how important it is to ring, and no “bell” rang as loudly and clearly as MLK did. Ring like he rang, and you will move our world towards God’s redemption. youtu.be/p605Nd6kP3U
Oh little town of Bethlehem how still we see thee lie, above thy deep and dreamless sleep the silent bells are rung...#belltowercaroltweets
You know what monolith will never be dismantled? Me! I’m the monolith that should be receiving all this attention. Please alert the media.
It is Finals week, @georgefox students!! You have gone through so much this semester, I have full confidence in you to ring your way through this week. If you get stressed, just remember I am here 24/7, ringing for you!!
Happy Thanksgiving! Be sure to eat some extra pumpkin pie for me, since, you know, I don’t eat. But I will continue to ring! Just for you.
Look at this, @jrobjohn! Time to fire up the carols...be on the listen-out! (Get it, like lookout?!?)
Since a @georgefox pastor, @jrobjohn, thinks I play Christmas music too late into the year, let’s conduct a poll: should I begin playing Christmas music next week? Or wait until after Thanksgiving?
81%Do it ASAP!
