We did our first @GGraziers local deliveries on Thursday and have just had this amazing feedback!
Overjoyed to be feeding our community and to get such a positive response really is so so brilliant!! 😀😀
We are very excited to be featured in @FarmersGuardian sharing our approach to agroforestry along with @BalbirnieFarm

#PasturePower Day 3 - today we look at the impact on the sward when we are managing for nature.
Regardless of pasture type, ley skills when #MobGrazing are developing an eye for when to move, learning to trust your judgement and adaptive decision making.

Had a local farmer tell me he’s outwintering his heifers in the woods rather than housing now - result!

#PasturePower Day 2 - today we look at “the move”.
We like to keep things low key and low stress for #theweemob - allowing us to check them over as they walk past us.
Then it’s heads down (or up🌳) for some serious munching!

Building relationships with our animals takes time, but helps us to creat a safe, calm and steady handling environment.

New paddock, always observing, checking the sward...interesting to see how it’s come back as we manage for resilience in a changing climate.

Had a great visit to @vitalveg this morning to talk about #cowsintrees and got to check out their wonderful meadow - never seen plantain and yellow rattle like it!
Grazing some beautiful spots at the moment - keeping rest times long to ensure max grass recovery and plenty of habitat for nature.
Discussions being had now with landowners planning for restorative winter grazing - we use cattle to encourage plant diversity in woodlands and heath.
Nice and steady moves - calm and quiet handling is important, knowing the cattle are happy and healthy - just hungry enough to move to the next paddock after a period of chewing the cud.
