Proud to share research we've been working on for many years. @GI__Zhou presented our findings @DDWMeeting showing prehab reduces costs and improves outcomes.
Grateful to @helmsleytrust for supporting this work.
Posting a couple weeks late but recently had the opportunity to present our case series on the off label use of chewed/crushed upadacitinib in IBD patients with prior bowel surgery at Crohn’s & Colitis Congress @IBDCedarsSinai @GilMelmedMD @CrohnsColitisFn

Time for my yearly tweet! Jeez I am bad at this. In the last year I passed the written Royal College GI exam, moved to LA and started my fellowship @IBDCedarsSinai. This past weekend I got to meet my co fellows from across the country, and learned what an RVU is 🙃

That’s a wrap for Module 1. Thanks to the incredible faculty and for the vision of @novakkerri to help bring ultrasound across Canada to improve IBD patient care. @BowelUltrasound @getgutsycanada @ScopeRounds
I am pretty bad at this Med Twitter thing... But in the last couple months I passed my USLME Step 1 exam, accepted an IBD fellowship at @IBDCedarsSinai, and completed Module 1 training via IBUS @BowelUltrasound to learn about intestinal ultrasound!
Need some light reading on a Sunday afternoon? Check out our summary of recommendations for vaccine-preventable disease in patients with IBD and thoughts on how we may bridge the gap between guidelines to clinical care! @gijonesns #IBD #GITwitter canadianibdtoday.com/article…
Last week I had one of the scarier moments of my GI residency so far…😬 thankfully it worked out in the end! #GItwitter
