Chances are he doesn't know a Whole lot about the human world at first. And what he does know is from him and Alphys watching Mew Mew Kissy Cutie or something. She likely even programmed that in and he can translate whatever language that was in, if anything. japanese? who knows

Somehow, his swears get censored and somehow others' swears will also become censored whenever he is on the air. How this works is impossible to explain, and the curse words get replaced with anything like a BEEP or sound effect to other words or messages.
