A finished scene file teaches things a tutorial skips.
Partition Distribution is the new Cloner mode in Cinema 4D 2026.3, and it does a lot with one object. Pack clones into a grid, cut it up, animate the Time parameter, and watch it reshuffle.
In this tutorial, Nick builds one start to finish. Plus, he’s giving you the scene file for free.

Make it glow! ✨
@cgpov builds this neon material from scratch in Redshift, showing how to get that bright, realistic glow without simply cranking up the emission.
OPEN or CLOSED, we’re always saying yes to a good neon sign.

What makes a product render feel real?
Usually, it’s the stuff you notice when you get close.
Tech Products Vol 2 is packed with the surfaces that make electronics feel like actual manufactured objects. Brushed metal, acoustic foam, radial finishes, grips, plastics, and plenty more.
Here’s a look at a few materials doing some work in the final renders.

Clean cuts of light across a product come from controlling throw, not brightness.
💡 Tip: Set the length of the hood before you touch intensity. Length is the strongest control over how tight the beam gets. Then pull Size X and Size Y apart to stretch the opening from a circle into a slot that runs across the product.
Snoot is a light shaper for Cinema 4D area lights in Redshift, Arnold and Octane.

Grip textures. Acoustic foam. A mirror finish that actually looks like a mirror.
Tech Products Vol 2 is here, and it's everything Vol 1 didn't get to. Every one of these is in Cargo right now, ready to drop into your next product render.
Whether you're doing a hero product shot, a studio photography recreation, or packaging and marketing imagery, this Kit's got the range you actually reach for week to week, not just the obvious stuff.

Your product render is only as convincing as the surfaces.
That’s why we made Tech Products Vol 2.
88 new materials for the surfaces we kept reaching for in close-up shots. Knurled and brushed metals, molded plastics, carbon fiber, acoustic foam, silicone, soft-touch rubber, and a lot of very specific grips.
Built for phones, cameras, headphones, controllers, and whatever else you're rendering.
Tech Products Vol 2 now in Cargo.

Sending a Cinema 4D scene to a client?
Crate scans the project first, finds missing assets, helps relink them, then packages the scene and assets into a portable folder or zip.
Much better to find the missing texture before the client does.

Great tips from @cgpov for using the new Redshift Light Manager (included in all subscriptions) 👇
One Redshift light is easy.
Five lights? Now you're hunting through the Object Manager.
Redshift Light Manager puts your entire setup in one panel so you can adjust, solo, compare, and aim lights without digging through your scene.

If you want a clean cut of light, don't keep fighting the falloff.
Snoot is a lighting hood for Cinema 4D area lights that gives you control over exactly where the light goes.
Adjust the length, radius, and shape. Drag the four viewport handles. Change the light size and Snoot follows along.
It works natively with Redshift, Arnold, and Octane, including quad and disk lights.

Three new plugins are now in Cargo for Cinema 4D:
🔦 Snoot for shaping area light throw.
🚦 Redshift Light Manager for managing complex lighting setups.
📦 Crate for collecting and packaging scenes with their assets.
Three very specific workflow problems and the three tools built to remove them.

Where luxury meets industry.
@BG_Studios created this RIMOWA product film in Cinema 4D and Redshift, building out the environment with KitBash3D Kits and Greyscalegorilla HDRIs.
Arch Vogue, Lights Camera Action, Cyberpunk Interiors, and DieselPunk all make an appearance, with light maps adding detail and control to the final shots.
💡 Artist tip: A strong product shot isn't just about the product. Give the camera, environment, and lighting enough to do some storytelling too.
