That first 20-25 minutes today is clearly how Jones wants us to play. Front footed, aggressive and progressive. The players let him down today, particularly senior players like Grant, Coventry etc. He has to shoulder the blame as the manager but the players are killing him #cafc

Not really sure you can argue with the setup today. We looked aggressive, front footed and rarely troubled until one awful mistake and the defending that followed. Yes Jones has gotten things wrong at times this season but this squad is miles off it technically #cafc

Ramsey, Jones, Billy, Mesik is a more than good enough back four at this level. The midfielders are poor but Cov/Skipp are capable of sitting and being solid if they haven’t got to worry about progressing us. Gap between midfield and forwards is killing us #cafc

Our best attacking threat is TC, and we have enough wingers to rotate the other side. Knibbs/Carey will help midfield two & get up and down and we can hurt teams on the counter #cafc

Awful from start to finish. Players need a long look at themselves, miles off it from the first minute and far too many hiding. Big reset needed, can’t rely on clean sheets, have to get more ability and threat on the pitch #cafc

Tough going into every game knowing we will have zero control in midfield. Coventry isnt good enough for the championship. He looked better next to Chalobah when all he had to do was sit up and break play but he is so limited. Ouma awful, Skipp no better than Coventry #cafc

As well as losing Chalobah, it’s no surprise we haven’t won a game since we bombed out Carey. If your holding mids are as bad as ours are on the ball, you have to support them. Grant isn’t a 10. No balance in midfield at all, gaps between lines are massive #cafc

Same old problems. Desperately need a body in midfield that can pick up the ball and link/drive with it. Get a natural 8/10 on to do what Cov/Skipp can’t.

Ten games in, we’re currently joint 8th (playoffs), unbeaten at home, just got a point away at Burnley, who’s weekly wage bill is probably more than our yearly. You’d think reading half these comments we were rock bottom and winless 😂 really don’t know what some expect #cafc

I get we can be a frustrating watch at times, and I quite often don’t get NJ’s decisions, but we are more than competing at this level and are obviously better than last year. A season not flirting with relegation would be another success #cafc
