It doesn't matter how far apart you are, a good book can make you feel close! It was so fun reading virtually with the children of Watterson Elementary and Goldsmith Elementary today. While I missed the hugs, we all had big smiles and a lot of fun.

It’s reading by the “campfire” for these kindergarteners at Goldsmith Elementary. The power may be out but great educators know how to improvise. The kids said they are having fun!!! #PowerOutage #RollwiththePunches @GoldsmithNews #Teaching

I stopped by @GoldsmithNews today to read to Mr. Davis’ kindergarten class. The school chose the most appropriate book for me to read on this #InternationalWomensDay written by @KamalaHarris. The kids loved it, and so did I! Thumbs up if you’re a superhero!

I loved sending this surprise message to the bright students at @WMSFA! They’ve been reading the young readers edition of Becoming and working with @ReachHigher to share their own #IAmBecoming story. I want to hear yours, too—so reply and tell me more about your story! 💝

Congratulations to our very own Kentuckian, Milo Golding, on winning the national Doodle for @Google competition. Milo's art, inspired by his late father's words, stood above submissions from across the U.S. for it's ability to instill hope in others. We are so proud.
