He has been coming down the weights and now back on heavy ground his stamina could win the day over this trip. This is winnable and he appeals as being slightly overpriced. A bit of a guessing game here but SNOW ON THE BEACH has shown bits and pieces of promise and now dropping back in trip pitched into a nursery it would be no surprise to see this well bred filly being by Mohaather get seriously involved. Rossa Ryan is booked and she could be a big player here. With the ground heavy and more rain forecast this test could prove ideal for FURHAAN and it might not be pretty but he should be staying on strongly under Lauren Young and hopefully can win ugly. He was running well prior to that blip at York and was back to form last time so has more going for him than most in here. Great chance for KEV to get back to winning ways. Given how keen he was he did well to edge out Pride Eye and win by a short head at Lingfield last month and then he did little wrong bumping into one at Bath last time clear from the third. Back down in trip and back on the AW he could still improve again and looks the one to beat under Hector Crouch.

It is still early days with this being her sixth career start and it wouldn't be a major shock to see her bounce back and get off the mark now. I thought that was a decent run from STORM POINT in defeat at Haydock last time. The form has been franked and he still has more to come dropping back down to a mile here. His win over Luminare at Newbury earlier in the season was promising and if he gets back to that sort of form he'll have a major shout in a race like this. Afraj is the one being backed but INSIDE STORY looks better value. She has knocked on the door the last twice and back at this track where she is 1-1 at she looks the one to beat. She is off an unchanged mark and Rossa Ryan gets the leg up. Afraj looks on the upgrade too so I do think the pair will battle it out. Great chance for LAST FLIGHT to follow up. She missed narrowly on stable debut and then put that right at Ffos Las last month. The way she hit the line she should have more to come over this trip and I really don't see too many dangers. I expect Head Girl to go forward and Fabled Spirit might even take her on so if that happens it'll be an ideal scenario. I don't think that was a bad run from MANAGING DIRECTOR at York. He had been catching the eye in defeat prior to that anyway and he could easily be well handicapped off this mark switching to the AW for the first time. The money is coming and he could take a lot of stopping. That win at Redcar from FIERCE FORTITUDE was promising and he backed that up somewhat when third to Danger Bay. Things obviously didn't go to plan at Newmarket but if you forgive that run with the promise of more to come over a mile and a half he could surprise a few here.
