BREAKING
#BINANCE IS BACK UP WITH 90% LOSSES RECOVERED
BULLS ARE BACKKKK
What happens when a $6.3B exchange hack puts pressure on DeFi protocols that weren't even compromised?
We're getting a real time look at how Solana's lending markets handle a major liquidity shock.
Following the Binance breach, Jupiter Lend experienced a sharp $USDC liquidity crunch that temporarily restricted withdrawals.
Jupiter confirmed it had no direct exposure to Binance and reported no losses. The issue was liquidity, not a protocol exploit.
Onchain research from Bitquery identified a single $44M USDC withdrawal on October 29 that drained nearly all the available cash from Jupiter's lending pool.
By October 30, Jupiter confirmed USDC withdrawals were available again.
Early October 31 data showed roughly $29.4M immediately withdrawable against $441M supplied. Liquidity had recovered, although most deposits remained lent out.
Meanwhile, @VelocityDEX took a different approach.
In direct response to the Binance hack, Velocity temporarily paused new deposits and account creation to prevent stolen funds from entering its protocol.
The team confirmed it had not been compromised. Withdrawals remained operational, with existing accounts and positions unaffected.
Kamino also temporarily restricted SOL/BTC borrowing before restoring access following additional risk checks.
The bigger picture?
The Binance breach is exposing how closely connected crypto's liquidity markets have become, even when protocols have no direct exposure to the affected exchange.
We're seeing the difference between preventing stolen funds from entering a protocol and managing liquidity when depositors rush for the exits.
Can DeFi build enough resilience to absorb shocks like this without restricting access to capital?

We know how important trust is, especially in moments like this.
We've now replenished 90% of the stolen assets, and we're committed to covering the remaining 10%. Our users will not bear the financial impact of this incident.
We've also shared an updated Proof of Reserves snapshot, and we're working towards resuming withdrawals on November 1.
Thank you for your patience and trust. We'll keep you updated every step of the way.

Rugging is the best-paying move for a dev. Bag, dump, walk.
So we changed the math.
On Slyng the dev gets zero tokens, can't sell early, can't touch the LP. But they earn 70% of curve fees, then 0.5% of every trade after graduation.
Rugging pays once. Staying keeps paying.

Heads up.
After every big hack, scammers come out in force.
Fake "Binance compensation" links. Fake support DMs. Fake claim pages.
Binance is handling refunds through its own app and official channels only.
Never click a link someone DMs you/ emails you.

Hacks and FUD everywhere right now. Before you panic, look at how Binance has handled crises before.
2018.03: Phishing stole API keys and attackers pumped VIA. Binance rolled back two minutes of trades, seized the attacker's VIA and offered a $250K bounty.
2018.07: Abnormal API trades hit SYS. Trading was paused for half a day, the API keys were wiped, and the SAFU fund was created.
2019.05: 7,074 BTC (~$40M) was drained from a hot wallet. Full SAFU coverage was announced the same day. "No user funds will be affected."
2019.08: Someone tried extortion with KYC photos and demanded 300 BTC. Binance refused to pay.
2022.10: A BNB Chain bridge exploit. Validators halted the chain for about 8 hours and over $400M stayed stuck on-chain.
2025.12: A malicious Trust Wallet extension (~$7M). Binance promised full reimbursement and opened claims two days later.
Seven incidents, and users never covered the losses.
Today's incident is far bigger. Outflow estimates run $3.3B–$5.8B, and about $2.39B in USDT and USDC is already frozen by issuers. Binance says user funds are completely safe, and the investigation is ongoing.
The track record matters. Stay calm, watch out for phishing, and only trust official channels.

The more I build on Robinhood Chain, the more I want to do two things. I want to give builders access and help birth new financial software, and I want to create a new type of smart wallet that feels like an investment app or a neobank, built on StonkBrokers infrastructure and Robinhood Chain stock tokens with a DeFi backend so thats what I'm going to do for our iOS and Android layer.
I buy stock through the brokerage account in my bank app, and I keep wondering why I am not doing this on chain. The reason is simple: people are afraid of losing their money to weak security. So I have decided to attack that problem head on.
Coming soon: tokenized funds, including funds that hold pair tokens which auto compound inside them, and a quantum protected vault that anyone will be able to create as their onchain DeFi investment account.
Today's wallets sign with elliptic curve keys. Every transaction reveals your public key on chain, and a large enough quantum computer could work backwards from that public key to your private key and move your funds.
Our vault will be secured by ML-DSA-44, a NIST post quantum signature standard. Its public key does not lead back to the private key, even for a quantum computer. You will be able to deposit ETH, any ERC-20 token or NFTs, and every withdrawal will need a valid ML-DSA-44 signature that the vault checks on chain. Your key will be created on your device and kept in an encrypted backup, so you can open the vault from any of your devices.
more soon.

A cropped screenshot is not a track record. On Slyng, track records are built from trades on Slyng launchpad coins, read off Robinhood Chain, so you can check what a caller sold.

No seed phrase to write down. On Slyng, you sign in with Apple or Google, and a wallet that is yours, not ours, is made as you join. Then follow people and trade in one app.
