On the verge of a House vote to censure him, Rep. Chuck Edwards tells me he thinks the House Ethics committee came to the wrong conclusion about the allegations against him.
He called the ethics report “…very light on fact, full of inferences, and by the way did you read the part where they said I made no sexual proposition, had no sexual contact, did not break sexual harassment law.”
The National Military Monument on the National Mall is now going to stay up until Veterans Day. USAA put together the temporary tribute to American service members to an overwhelmingly positive response. At times the lines to get a name display have been hours long.

NEW: Sen. Jon Husted tells me Rep. Max Miller should "step down" if the allegations of domestic abuse that he is facing are true.
"Any member of Congress who's involved in domestic abuse should resign. That's why I am glad that the House opened up an ethics investigation. They will get to the bottom of whether those allegations are true, and if they're true, then he should step down."
On whether he should drop his reelection bid before the House Ethics investigation is complete: "We're going to talk more about what potentially can happen there. I know that time frame is short, but if he's guilty of domestic violence, he's unfit for public office."
