As @Athletics time in Oakland neared the end, @CotroneoVince and I were thrilled taking an audio trip down memory lane with voices like Monte, Lon, Bill and Ray. So many others made their mark, including those who set the table for our broadcasts, like the godfather of pregame shows @baseballmarty. Of course Towny, Commander and the fabulous @KleinschmidtJD. Apologies to those we left out, but please know you enriched the experience for all of us.
Funny how this Mets/Brewers playoff game is between 2 pitchers that were top starting teammates for the A's for 5 years together. And by funny, I mean it's not.
