Go give a good friend a follow! Terragroup is doing some cool things and Order 66 is excited to continue working with them
Looking back at my time in Star Citizen and everything we’ve done with TERRAGROUP over the years, it’s pretty crazy to think about how far we’ve come and how much has changed along the way. I first pledged back in early 2021, and believe it or not, I was actually pretty critical of Star Citizen before I ever played it. Once I finally gave it a chance, though, I realized this was the game I’d been looking for. It had pretty much everything I ever wanted out of a game, even if half of it wasn’t working yet. 😂 Eventually, a friend and I started TERRAGROUP. He was the original leader, but I ended up doing a lot of the work behind the scenes, building things, organizing everything, and trying to figure out how to make it all work. When he eventually moved on, I took over, and I’ve been running it ever since. And man, has it been a journey. We’ve changed so many things over the years that I’ve honestly lost count. Different leadership, different structures, ideas that seemed great at the time but ended up not working, and plenty of things we’ve completely scrapped and started over. Even now, we’re still changing things and trying to figure out what works best. I don’t think that part will ever stop, especially with how much Star Citizen itself keeps changing. But through all of that, the goal has pretty much stayed the same. I’ve always wanted TERRAGROUP to be an organization that can do just about everything Star Citizen has to offer. PvP has become a huge part of who we are, and we absolutely want to compete with the best. We’re not there yet, but that’s what we’re working toward. At the same time, I don’t want us to lose everything else that makes this game great. Mining, salvage, logistics, exploration, and all the other things we enjoy doing together. And above all, I’ve always wanted this to be an actual community. Not just a massive roster of names, but people who know each other, hang out, help each other, and genuinely enjoy playing together. We’ve had a lot of people come through TERRAGROUP over the years. Some stayed, some moved on, and sadly, we’ve even lost a friend who is no longer with us. That’s one thing you don’t really think about when you first start an organization. The friendships you end up making and how much some of those people become part of your life. I’m really happy with the group we have today. We’ve got some great people in leadership and a solid community of members who continue to put in the time and effort to make TERRAGROUP better. There’s still a lot of work to do, though. I want us to keep growing, improving our PvP capabilities, and getting better at working together. We have some pretty ambitious goals, and I know we’re not going to reach them overnight. If I’ve learned anything from running this org, it’s that you can’t get too attached to how things are done. People come and go, the game changes, and sometimes you have to throw out something you’ve spent months working on because it just isn’t working anymore. And that’s fine. You learn, make adjustments, and keep going. I still have a lot of faith in Star Citizen and what CIG is trying to accomplish. I’ve watched this game grow so much since I started playing, and I’m just as excited about its future now as I was when I first got into it. I’m proud of what we’ve built with TERRAGROUP, and I’m looking forward to seeing where we take it from here. We’ve still got a long way to go, plenty of fights ahead of us, and a whole lot more memories to make. I’m not going anywhere. #StarCitizen #RobertsSpaceInd

robertsspaceindustries.com/c… Here is our write-up of our last major @RobertsSpaceInd Event. Operation Flaming Dragon was a ton of fun, and thanks to CIG for the giveaway to the winners.

Looking back and reflecting on what has now been a nearly 3 year journey of starting Order 66 (started Dec 8th 2023) It’s wild the amount of change that has occurred. So many overhauls and failed attempts. Even now, we are constantly trying new things and killing off old things to continue seeing what works best. If you look at the Order 66 team, our oldest member besides myself is @Meta_VKG who has been with us for 18 months. So 17 months had passed with me rocking it mostly solo…. I had friends and acquaintances help along the way like @KhiosaYT who was instrumental in re-igniting my passion for Star Citizen after I had almost sold my account and uninstalled, and @AnthropicDualiT who came to an arms dealing event and unknowingly kickstarted the machine that became Order 66 which slowly turned into a full fledged PvP outfit all because he took a couple cool photos and people liked them. Also @RiverGrit_SC and his group 388 ignited a passion as well after they attacked our arms dealing event when we had no real PvP players…. And I realized I couldn’t outsource my help. If I wanted to secure the site, I needed to do it myself. (This started the shift from community events, to a full fledged PvP outfit) Now we have an amazing team in our leadership roles, and a core group of guys I truly like a lot. It needs to get bigger, faster and skill needs to continue to improve. But if there is one lesson I’ve learned in the last 3 years…. It’s that change is inevitable and we will meet it head on and stay ready to adapt and meet the next challenge head on. Players will come and go, but I’m not leaving. @RobertsSpaceInd

What makes a brand stick out to you? Is it…. A. The people behind the brand connecting with you personally B. The logos, videos, posts, ads, websites C. The stories that come out from 3rd parties D. Something else? I know for me, it’s Option A, but I know that that is the beauty of marketing. It’s not a one right answer.

Order 66 strongly believes that multi-crewing specific ships gives us a competitive edge over our opponents! Our Idris crews average about 4 people per ship with highly trained engineers on board acting as gunners, engineers and counter boarding to ensure we get as much value out of a cap ship as possible. This is an example of one of our engineers getting on an enemies Idris and repairing the Idris just enough so we could self destruct it. Do you like PvP and large scale teamwork, but don’t live being a pilot…. Well we have a spot for you in Order 66 at Order66SC.com Credit to @AnthropicDualiT for capturing this in the action

Horribly ironic that the only rule in our Org V Org battles are “Don’t run once the fight starts” A concept that is completely foreign to the group who’s known for hitting groups and running immediately after 🤣
While the bobs were having yet another carefully curated “fight” with a rule set heavier than Galibobs period, GRIEFERNET was casually destroying yet another series of org v. org battles, fighting off ambush forces after killing a space cruise ship, and mogging Idris with a Mole. There’s a reason you don’t see many of these “fights” on his YouTube channel. Shits a lot more boring than he’d have you believe. Going on a year or so since he claimed he’d have the largest fleet battle in SC! Praying for you haha.

Yesterday was a very fun day! Got to hang out with @AnthropicDualiT and @SubliminaLsTV Order 66 picked up 5 new recruits in one day which is the best recruiting day we’ve had in months (not surprising as summer has ended) And we had an epic battle against the Spaceling Group in the asteroid belt around Nyx. @AnthropicDualiT took some insane photos as well like this one Order 66 applications remain open through early Nov, head to Order66sc.com to apply!

When do we get PvE servers in Star Citizen? I’m so sick of seeing all these servers with guys who wanna fight all the time…. Why can’t I just run around farming billions of credits with zero risk. Where are the custom servers that can allow me to remove the Idris? This is pure rage bait ^

It’s wild that somehow making a party in Star citizen somehow has broken even more than it already was…. It’s easily a top 3 pain point for why I don’t play this game. Especially being an org leader, I tend to be the guy who is making parties a lot and OH MY GOD it is HORRID…. I sheer number of times I have to exit to menu or alt-f4 to reset the friends list orrrr I am having to scroll down a list of all my offline friends to find a name that sometimes is there sometimes isn’t. It is such a miserable experience.
