This is actually a great day for the Arizona Cardinals getting a very fair deal done for both sides with Michael Wilson. There was no late push as some reports have said - they began working on this right before camp and got it done before the "Unofficial" deadline of the first week of the season. These things take time to get across the finish line and hats off to the Cardinals for getting it done as this was one of their top priorities. I'm a big fan of MW - great kid, great teammate, incredibly hard worker - truly embodies what you want in a player.

The Miles Bridges trade and Luke Kennard signing are expected to be completed early next week. The initial trade with Charlotte, Minnesota and Brooklyn should be done this weekend. Phoenix can’t complete their transaction until that trade is completed. There is no risk of it falling apart, just timing.

Ok the Suns are going to hit free agency looking for a fourth guard and can go up to $6 million as part of the taxpayer mid-level they can use. Here are 5 names with one wild card for who I expect they will be targeting. A couple of these guys may get 8-12 million and be priced out but again this is who I expect they will look at. Luke Kennard Kevin Huerter Collin Sexton Jordan Clarkson De'Anthony Melton Wild Card - Landry Shamet

Ok I know Suns fans have been waiting for this - Here are some names I expect the Phoenix Suns to have interest in if they stay at #47 or move up in the second round. Not sure they can get any of these at 47 so main reason I have been saying I expect they attempt to move up in the second-round. Baba Miller Trevon Brazile Tyler Bilodeau Ja'Kobi Gillespie Joshua Jefferson Dillon Mitchell

Here are all the details that are not out yet on the Goodwin contract.

Two more names for Phoenix Suns pre-draft workouts are Louisville Guard Ryan Conwell and St. John's forward Bryce Hopkins. Both players will come in next week for workouts.

Ok not as challenging as when we nailed the Gambo 5 with picks not in the top 10 (That is difficult, challenging and fun) but enough people wanted it so here we go. The Gambo 5 for the Cardinals at pick #3 where we guarantee if they keep the pick and do not trade out it will be one of these players. arizonasports.com/nfl/arizon…
