This is sad news on multiple fronts - for those of us who worked there, for our friends and colleagues at BioWare who are impacted, and for fans who were looking forward to the next Mass Effect adventure.
I started my career at BioWare and will forever be grateful to the founders, Greg and Ray, for inviting me to join in BioWare's legendary journey. Its legacy will live on through those who were part of it and continue to create games through a passion for unforgettable stories, worlds and characters.

Great day yesterday sharing mocap best-practices with the latest Abertay University MSc in Technical Art & Visual Effects cohort.
Matt's Technical Animation in Video Games has helped me a lot and this updated revision should be an essential purchase for every animator working in video games.
More detailed shots. From this CEDEC 2026 talk "Making Diana" by Capcom lead facial animator Serina Ohara & lead character artist Kenji Irie youtube.com/watch?v=j0K7T9zn…

Devil May Cry 3 (2005) motion capture behind-the-scenes and live-action previz. Capcom were really ahead of the game in terms of stunt choreography even then.

Since she can only squeak, I figured I'd play around with ways she can communicate with the player. Also a great perk for our deaf players.
