Difficulty was never really an issue for me in Phantom Blade Zero. 😬 Enemies not respawning doesn’t automatically make it a Soulslike either. As players, we have the option to make the game more challenging ourselves.

Personally, I keep my weapons at base level because I don’t want enemies dying too quickly. I enjoy the challenge. The only things I really invest in are skills and abilities, mainly to expand my combo variety. If you’re 10–15 hours into the game and feel it’s getting too easy

you could always: Lower your weapon level (if possible). Equip weaker gear. I just find it funny when people go on social media boasting about how easy a game is while running around with fully upgraded equipment, without ever considering challenging themselves.
