Context: RE2 Remake was one of the very FIRST playthroughs I ever had on my channel (and one of the first STREAMS I ever did!). I only did the LEON story back then on the channel, and when I was PLANNING to play Claire’s story, RE3 Remake and RE4 Remake were announced and released, delaying RE2 Remake a TON. To top it off, I retired from streaming due to LOTS of tech issues (and more), unfortunately putting the rest of the RE2 Remake playthrough on PERMANENT HIATUS…until now🙏🥹

Question: does anyone else’s eyes hurt when watching streams on YouTube that are in vertical mode? (Like it’s super zoomed in, and even in fullscreen, it has empty space on the left and right). I just can’t watch these without having to stop after a few minutes😭

Beat CASTLEVANIA BELMONT’S CURSE (offscreen). Very very solid 8.5/10 from me personally. Phenomenal game overall, just a few things hold it back for me. -A BIT long for me (I prefer 12-16 hours max for a Metroidvania). -Getting the True End is a LITTLE tedious. -The starting base damage TAKEN from enemies is a bit high (I know it has options to change that, but they’re not the INTENDED difficulty). Damage you dish out TO enemies is perfect though. -Sometimes it’s a bit hard to keep track of what’s happening in the later sections just because of screen clutter (enemies, environment, effects from attacks, etc). -Maybe a little too many weapons considering many are very similar and most players probably won’t touch half of them (I think). Besides the above, it’s a fantastic game and I DO recommend it to fans.
