We had a great day at #LivingLand yesterday. We gave a bird box to more than 50 schools whilst engaging with the 2,800 children about woodland management. Thanks to @Gamekeeper10 for joining us and East Kent Timber for supplying the wood for all those bird boxes. #BasctoSchool

More great news from @stourvalleygame on #greypartridge numbers, I’m very jealous on the numbers he’s seen today on @robsfarm67 and hopefully more when beans are off 🤞 This is amazing news for our local population of greys Farms and estates doing their best for wildlife 🥳

Starting to see a few broods of #greypartridge some good reports of bigger numbers throughout the valley. Just a few years ago we didn’t have any greys in the area, but now most farms/estates around us have some. #workingtogethertomakeadifference

Aren’t road side food bins a delight this time of year Surely everyone is just a mass of maggots I’ve just poured boiling water over mine, so now the bin men have a lovely maggot soup 🤢🤣 Sorry guys

Son no1 picked up a new air rifle from @TheGameFair Bargain @ £300 including scope and accessories, nice starter air rifle for him 👍 Squirrels are going to be in trouble 🤞 Going to set him up with a couple of feeding areas, should keep him busy for the summer 😊

Curlew are FOUR times more likely to fledge young on a Grouse Moor (pop's between 4&9 breeding pairs exist in a single 1km) If we BanGrouseShooting rather than continue with reforming it then it not just the guns we wave bye bye to NB: Make sure to SIGN the @CAupdates petition

A few Grey Partridge chicks in today, happy finding a few ants and any other insects in the grass. I like to start all my chicks on grass before adding cardboard bedding at about 5 - 6 days, stops them trying to eat the bedding and hopefully gives them a bit more natural start
