Wrote this some years ago describing how we dealt with South Africa when I was in the US Foreign Service. It was pathetic.
South Africa. Complicated place with a complicated history which few outside of the Boers and the Zulus seem to understand or appreciate. When I was at the UN in the 1980's I had to deal with the South African "Issue." Israel and South Africa, of course, were the greatest evils facing mankind, and the UN spared no effort to crush them both. I would, on occasion meet, quite discreetly, the harried and tired-looking South African diplomats assigned to New York and Geneva. I remember their Mission in NY had no identifying flag or symbol; you knew you were entering South African property only because the door handle read "Trek." A giveaway, that. The British, Israelis, and we were about the only ones who argued for a more moderate treatment of South Africa. In the end, of course, our policy likely would have produced the same thing that eventually happened, to wit, the death of Africa's richest and most productive country.
In dealing with South Africa back then, we viewed it as some sort of replay of our own civil rights struggle and fight against Jim Crow. That, of course, was nonsense, but few of us had the knowledge or courage to say so. The Boers, especially, had about as much claim to South Africa as did the Zulus. Both were conquering tribes. Traditional enemies of the British, the Boers and the Zulus, in fact, had reached a sort of accommodation and seemed tacitly united against the massive influx of outsiders that finally did alter irrevocably the demographics of South Africa. Immigration did the place in. Yes, evil South Africa under the evil Boers was a net recipient of immigrants and refugees, almost all black and Asian from other parts of Africa. For a time, of course, big business such as in the diamond, gold, and agricultural sectors welcomed these migrants as a source of cheap labor. Well, as we can see at home and in Europe, cheap labor can get very expensive very quickly especially once it gets politicized by "progressive" forces. So, evil apartheid was destroyed; Mandela and his ANC took power, and--Surprise!--South Africa has become a hellish place for everybody, black, white, Zulu, Boer, Anglo, Asian, etc.
We now see the South African parliament declaring that white-owned property (about ¾'s of the most productive agricultural land) can and should be seized without compensation, in the style of Zimbabwe. We have prominent South African politicians calling for the murder of whites. The world reaction seems, to say the least, muted. I see no calls for a meeting of the UNSC, or emergency human rights meetings in NY or Geneva. Silence in the face of genocide. White Lives Don't Matter!
The ANC started as a party that took God very seriously. Then you met Lenin and God went out the door along with your common sense. Even Nicholas Bhengu turned his back on you
I make a point of checking for halal when I buy anything and as a rule I will always pick the option that isn't halal. I don't visit Muslim stores or shops and definitely no barbers.
The money you spend on any good that is certified halal or at a Muslim shop ends up at a Mosque or Islamic organization and from there you can't control if that money is actually spent on the community or ends up in some extremist organization.
Muslims make up less than 2% of South Africa so if you refuse to support the products, shops will be forced to stop stocking it.
You'll be surprised how little it inconveniences your life.

Not being forced? When it’s the only option on the shelf, in the drive-thru and on the label, there's not much of a choice, is there? That’s capture.
News24’s “debunk” pretends a 2% minority’s commercial stamp somehow doesn’t dominate the supply chain for the rest of us. Walk into most big supermarkets and the chicken, many processed meats, and plenty of everyday products carry the SANHA logo. Major chains (KFC, McDonald’s, Nando’s and others) run fully or overwhelmingly halal-certified operations. Non-halal options get squeezed out because companies chase the Muslim market plus export access. You pay the certification costs either way. That’s not a voluntary lifestyle choice for the Christian majority; it’s the practical reality of what’s available and what you’re forced to subsidise.
Subtle? Only if you ignore the labels, the missing bacon in favour of macon, and the fact that ordinary people keep saying they can’t easily buy plain non-ritual meat without the Islamic seal. Calling lived experience “viral claims” is the real gaslight.
Nice, you get the bag and the ordinary people of SA pays for the government's race policies. This is the ANC working for the people. Making everything you buy more expensive and ensuring no economic growth
Last week a current customer (lets call them "CompanyY*" asked for our BBEE certification. We are level 4 white owned.
This week we get an enquiry from a new customer asking us to quote for a product for to be supplied to their customer - CompanyY..
Clearly we are not black enough to be put on the supplier list at CompanyY.
In the end we still win, but the new company also get's a BEE cut. The BEE obsessed CompanyY now pays 2 x more, for the same product, sourced the same place.
funny how BEE words.
The state of mainstream media. Leftists and immigrants burn France to the ground but now it's the Right Wing who apparently made things violent.
You don't loathe these people enough.

I think the man is starting to panic.
EFF leader Julius Malema has launched a scathing attack on Helen Zille, saying she has a history of racism and lied about fighting against apartheid.

When leftists in South Africa defend "Our democracy" you need to understand, they aren't defending your right to vote, they're defending their right to profit off of your suffering.
Imagine looking at the state of South Africa, the suffering of millions of people who tonight will go to bed without food or running water and then, if you can imagine, Mr Pierre de Vos sitting in his air-conditioned house with a full fridge and money to spare concluding that South Africa's democracy is an absolute success.

If this is your professor demand your money back.
A Wits/UJ professor claims the mere presence of white people causes workplace trauma to black South Africans.
Vasintha Pather argues that “whiteness” — including things like punctuality and accurate calculation creates anxiety for black and Indian colleagues.
This is what is being published and taught as academic work in South Africa:

Benny Hinn has himself admitted to delivering false prophecies and even admitted he went too far with his false prosperity gospel only to double down and go right back to prosperity.
What does God say about His prophets
“But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in my name that I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die.’ And if you say in your heart, ‘How may we know the word that the Lord has not spoken?’— when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You need not be afraid of him.”
Deuteronomy 18:20-22
Prophet Benny Hinn Arrives In Pretoria Ahead Of Union Buildings Healing Crusade
International televangelist Pastor Benny Hinn has arrived in South Africa ahead of a three-day healing crusade scheduled to take place at the Union Buildings in Pretoria from 23 to 25 October 2026.
Hinn confirmed his arrival in a social media post, thanking South Africans for the warm welcome and directing supporters to the upcoming event.
The Healing the Nations crusade is scheduled to take place daily, with arrivals from 14:00 and the main programme starting at 18:00. The event is free and open to the public.
Organisers expect large crowds, including visitors from across the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region. The programme is expected to include worship, teaching, prayer and healing.
The choice of the Union Buildings, which house the seat of the South African presidency, has also drawn attention. Organisers have described the gathering as the first Christian event of its kind to be held at the venue.
Hinn has previously hosted crusades in several African countries, including Uganda, Ethiopia and Zimbabwe.
Former Johannesburg mayor Mpho Phalatse is among the public figures who have supported the local event.
However, Hinn's visit has also attracted criticism. Some commentators and social media users have raised concerns about his faith-healing claims, prosperity teachings and financial practices.
Critics have also pointed to past investigations into his ministry, public criticism from family members and Hinn's own previous statements about inaccuracies in his prophecies and his views on the prosperity gospel.
The crusade is scheduled to run from Friday, 23 October, to Sunday, 25 October.
Further information is available on the event website, healingthenations.co.za.
Benny Hinn is a false prophet and a fraud. I beg of you, if you're a believer, do not fall for his lies. @MikeWingerii and others have done countless videos highlighting is evil.
Christians, pray for those who are being saved, that they will not be misled by this man
Prophet Benny Hinn has landed South Africa!!😆🙌🏽
Whatever your plans this weekend, you cannot afford to miss this life-changing encounter we’re about to experience, personally and as a nation.❤️
I’m believing God for personal upliftment through real encounter with JESUS, and a supernatural turnaround for our nation.🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
What are you trusting God for?💁🏽♀️
You caused the inflated prices with your endless taxes and the destruction of our industries that produced refined petroleum products. You're further to blame for standing in the way of extracting the oil off our coasts and the gas under our feet. So don't try and claim now that you're saviors, you're sparing us a tiny fraction of the pain you've caused.
You can tell a lot about a movement with who they glorify. Gaddafi was a brutal dictator that slaughtered his own people and he created incredible instability across the region.
Now, it's also true that American meddling into the affairs of Libya lead to even greater upheaval but to take the consequences and then suddenly excusing his atrocious acts as justified because he happened to be not quite as evil as those who proceeded him is the act of a deeply disturbed mind.
The ANC cannot help but prove themselves a terrorist organisation at every turn. South Africa and Africa deserves better than dictators and terrorists. It cannot be true that we have to have one or the other. Reject the evil of dictators and the evil of terrorists like the ANC and embrace people who actually want to move Africa and South Africa forward.
We remember Brother Leader, Colonel Muammar Gaddafi
Today marks the 15th Anniversary of his brutal killing. He supported anti-colonial and national liberation struggles across Africa, including anti-apartheid struggles in Southern Africa.
"My vision is to inspire African leaders to unify our continent. If African masses are enlighted, aware and make informed decisions, Africa will thrive. I firmly believe African unity is essential" Brother Leader, Colonel Muammar Gaddafi
Long live the undying revolutionary spirit of Brother Leader, Colonel Muammar Gaddafi, Long live!
Guess what Pieter doesn't know? America is by far our biggest trading partner when it comes to exports and it's not even close. Losing AGOA will mean the loss of a giant partner that neither China, India or Russia will EVER be able to cover for. So start worrying
90% of the things he says he likes about Afrikaners is exactly because of Christianity and traditional gender roles which happen to be 2 of the things he dislikes.
Penuel, read a book called Dominion to realise why you wouldn't want to live in any nation without Christianity as its foundation.

Julius has never built anything in his life that added any value to the economy so it's no surprise he doesn't understand how farming work and that giving people land who don't know how to farm it will end with poor people owning useless land.
EFF leader Julius Malema said that white people must surrender most of their land for South Africa to achieve real economic equality.

Former President Thabo Mbeki has just admitted in his testimony before the Khampepe Commission that he and other ANC leaders applied for amnesty for “having taken the policy and programmatic decisions which might ultimately have resulted in cadres in the more junior ranks engaging in actions which amounted to gross violation of human rights.”
Their applications for amnesty were denied.
@afriforum wants Mbeki to answer allegations that he intervened politically to prevent himself and other ANC leaders from being prosecuted for a landmine attack on civilians that resulted in the deaths of Dirk van Eck’s wife, Kobie, and their two young children, Nelmarie (8) and Nasie (2), in December 1985.
The family of the Cradock Four has also accused Mbeki of political interference aimed at preventing prosecutions in their case.
Dirk van Eck gave AfriForum a mandate in 2007 to pursue justice and ensure that the ANC leaders who took the decision at Kabwe in June 1985 to target civilians are also held accountable if prosecutions proceed.
