Alex Condon shot 17% from three last season. Boogie Fland shot 24%.
Florida's roster is largely back, so can the Gators fix their shooting? Fland's health, Condon's mechanics plus Denzel Aberdeen and Slovenian forward Domen Petrovic (38% from deep) are the keys.

I fondly remember the "mud bowl" that day and Rhett not changing into clean unis at halftime. Back then I was selling post-game score posters there. Any of you remember those? Whatta blast!

"There's definitely glimpses... The bye week really helped him." – Buster Faulkner on Eric Singleton Jr.
Vernell Brown III, Dallas Wilson and Singleton have played just five snaps together all season. That could finally change against Georgia.

IT'S "HATE GEORGIA" WEEK!! 🐊 Can't believe it has been 42 years since we stormed the field in Jax. @CoachJonSumrall was only 2 years old. 🤣🤣
Georgia week. Jon Sumrall says Aaron Philo and Tramell Jones Jr. are both available, but he hasn't named a starter for Saturday in Atlanta. Who should get the nod against No. 3 Georgia? 🐊 #FloridaGators #GatorsFootball #GatorNation

Breaking: Bryan Mesa has announced his commitment to The University of Florida. Mesa is one of the top overall prospects in the 2028 class and is an elite shortstop with a lot of present strength as well as good defensive actions. The Gators add to their growing 2028 class.
"I'm not gonna name a starter today... we need both of those guys ready to play." - Jon Sumrall
Aaron Philo and @TramellJonesJr are both available and splitting first-team reps ahead of Georgia, Vernell Brown III looks "normal" again, and Sumrall talks portal plans for 2027. Our bye week notebook:

44% from three in SEC games. 40% on pull-up threes. Florida was +5.0 per 100 possessions with him on the floor.
@urbanklavzar7 went from a guy people wrote off to one of the best sixth men in the country, and he could be the shotmaker the Gators need most this season.

We are the most penalized SEC team over a 20 year period.
The first chart just shows annual penalty rankings (so many years at 1).
But the second is pretty wild. Florida has accumulated 270 penalties above the FBS average, more than double second place.
That’s only about one extra penalty per game, but sustained over 20 years, it really adds up.
Includes all current SEC teams, even before they joined.
