I just experienced something novel with LLM's I've never seen before:
For a single word, Gemini Argon 4 invented a term by combining a different language root with an English suffix:
> "банаl", from common Slavic "бана"-root with a Latin "l" suffix, for "banal"

Today we’re launching something for the era where every AI logo looks like a butthole,
❌ Bots
❌ Dots
✅ Pots
Supports all models. Except Muse, obv.

What if,
for any scientific claim,
you can search 100M+ papers to find the strongest evidence for and against it
⚡️in 1 second?
That’s now possible with Evidence API! 🚀

Excuse me:
> "we screened millions of pathway combinations to engineer essential amino acid biosynthesis, achieving near-wild-type growth without valine and enabling isoleucine-free growth"
They took the "essential" out of "essential amino acid" 🤯

As shown in our recent study, good gains in muscle strength and size can be achieved with as little as ~1 hour of resistance training per week, provided sets are performed with a high level of effort (close to failure). For most of the general population, this can be sufficient to achieve their strength and muscle-building goals. The key is simply to get to the gym, train hard and be consistent 💪

TIL: You can append ".diff" to a Github PR URL to download the changes as a diff file 🤯
Super useful for copy-pasting as LLM context when the PR is not in the conversation history
Smol blogpost on why I think Design-by-Contract and Effects/Capabilities systems are more valuable with LLM-generated code

Yep. To that point, my dissertation research investigated a bodybuilding style workout (3 x 10) vs a powerlifting style workout (7 x 3). By the end of the 8-week intervention, the powerlifting group was pretty spent and had nagging injuries while the BB group was well-recovered.
The vast majority of studies use a moderate rep range so it's basically a default when discussing the topic

A new review paper highlights something that’s becoming harder to ignore: GLP-1 receptor agonists appear to have meaningful anti-inflammatory effects that even extend well beyond weight loss.
In chronic inflammatory and autoimmune skin conditions like psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa, and atopic dermatitis, clinicians are reporting improvements in disease activity - sometimes even before significant weight loss occurs. The mechanisms seem to involve direct effects on immune cell activity, keratinocyte function, and inflammatory signaling pathways.
GLP-1 medications could end up being viewed as some of the most broadly anti-inflammatory drugs we’ve seen in clinical practice.

Bio databases/APIs weren't designed for AI agents🧬
So we expanded #Paperclip to transform common molecular databases—UniProt, PDB, ChEMBL—into a unified agent-native virtual filesystem.
Now you can do deep research across 10^6 molecules much more accurately and 10x faster!
All integrated with millions of full-text papers also indexed in Paperclip. Free to use gxl.ai/blog/adding-biology-d…
