We can 100% do a better job at communicating this. But I want to get the facts out there. 23 home games. 6 Gold games - from £35. 13 Silver games - from £30. 4 Bronze games from £20. Plus £1.50 booking fee per transaction. A season ticket starts from £380, £16.52 a game. I know we all want as full a stadium as possible. But we need to drive the economics. These are data-driven decisions. Although we will all likely have different opinions and ideas, à la the beautiful game! I am reviewing this.

I do acknowledge the current concerns around ticket prices and that a well-intentioned effort here to promote a sponsor that was buying tickets in support of the club was ill-timed. I have asked that our comms team publish the ticket benchmarking we performed before the season started and how higher prices at times (albeit I do believe reasonable) supports what I hope can be a better product on the pitch and our 5 year plan. Leave this with me and I’ll write to you in full later this week.

I understand press speculation can concern @CAFCofficial fans, so let me address the Guardian story directly. What I've said publicly several times before, is that this ownership group is seeking new investment to help us progress. This is similar to the route taken clubs like Ipswich, Wrexham and Bolton, and is not new news for Charlton. I've been inundated with messages since the story broke. Please, don't be concerned. We are a Championship and WSL club, in a better position than we've been for 20 years. The 5 year plan requires we reach Championship average revenues by 2027-28, and we're increasing spend on players to back that. This ownership group has been nothing but good for this club. We’re focussed on channelling all our energy into driving the club forward with our supporters and with that togetherness I'm confident we'll continue to achieve our ambitions for Charlton. Meet the Directors, our bi annual CharltonTV present is scheduled for Thursday week!

So incredibly proud of this @CAFCWomen team. Karen’s hard work, dedication and resilience reflect everything she has brought to the club. Her players and coaching team have achieved a phenomenal feat.

Thank you to all @CAFCofficial fans. The season wasn’t easy, it was never going to be. I thank you for your trust and belief. If each season I can tweet progress then I know we are heading in the right direction. There is much work ahead but we remain on plan. Best of luck to Karen and the girls @CAFCWomen tomorrow.

Proud of the work @TraceyLeaburn leads every year, championing PSA testing, raising awareness, and making a real difference. Year after year this initiative saves Charlton fans’ lives. The annual @CAFCofficial PSA testing will be taking place at the upcoming Preston game. I’ve booked my test, please do the same. Book your test here - bkpca.mypsatests.org.uk/Even… And please support the initiative if you can by raising funds here - goodhub.com/go/psa-testing-d…

Like so many of you at The Valley on Saturday, I was shocked and saddened to witness the events unfold and then deeply moved when we learned it was our dear ‘Headphones’ Norm who had passed. A familiar figure to so many of us over the decades, his loss will be felt across the Charlton family. My thoughts are with his loved ones and with all supporters who shared the terraces with him over the years. RIP Norm 💔🎧

League One - Completed - ✅

Congratulations @GavBillenness and all at @modmag1905. Very well deserved 🏆, always a great read! Just need to be sharper on those Podcasts! 😉

A true gent. Universally respected and achieved so much. Steve leaves a great legacy, it’s our job now to make him proud and continue to build out the best academy outside the EPL, just as he’s made us fans proud over the years. Delighted Steve will be advising us along the way.

Enjoy the evening to all the Addicks in Berlin, bring it home!!!

Show me a better community trust in the @EFL and we’ll beat it. Kudos @JasonMorgan1 and team.

This is exactly why the distributions down to the #EFL are so important. The EFL, particularly @CAFCofficial, develop so much youth for the top leagues and the international level through our Academy and contracting of loan players. Steve and his team do an amazing job.

It’s a new chapter that has only just begun. A chapter which must and will be done right. Bringing pride back to @CAFCofficial again is our motivation.

The guy is a statesman for golf. @McIlroyRory speaks so well and makes so much sense. pgatour.com/video/competitio…

Today on Memorial Day I am gratefully reminded of the freedoms we often take for granted. To all those that have sacrificed themselves we are forever in your debt. As Reagan said “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction”
