Populist FDR style “New Deal” policies in the country, the people of Brazil appreciate. This is the antidote to the right wing populism, oligarch/fascist fkry, consolidation of wealth and power, and use of hatred scapegoating the politically weak and marginalized people. This is to fascism what garlic is to vampires. FDR knew it and used it to beat back the rise of the Fascist NAZI movement in the USA in the 30s. It’s time for a New, New Deal.

This nastiness is where we end up thanks to Luxons weakness - he encouraged TPU racidm and division and failed to sack or at the least publicly condem Peters and Jones racism. Under his National led Govt NZ is becoming a dog eat dog country.

Almost the worst part is that the Electoral Commission will not be recording how many voters are turned away on the day because of the government's law change

EL-SAYED: I get that the President takes personal offense to my first name. He doesn't mind as much when it's the Saudis who are funding his son-in-law's private equity. Doesn't seem to mind as much when it's the Qataris who are giving them a $400 million private jet. He just seems to have trouble pronouncing it when it's my name.
I don't care how he pronounces my name. I don't even care that he remembers my whole name. Because he can just go on and call me senator after November.

Liam fails to mention that, all finer details aside, this change has been brought in by the party which most likely stands to benefit from it.
They could have achieved their stated goals a bunch of ways, but instead chose the specific one which screws the scrum their own way.
